A place to say thank you, provide reviews and first impressions, or follow up on gratis received after more use!

Many of us have been very lucky to receive gratis (thanks Sephora!), and I’ve been finding that while it’s easy to initially post about receiving it and initial reviews, it’s not as easy to follow up! 

I thought maybe we could have a dedicated thread to follow-ups and reviews with products we’ve received after we’ve been using them for a while, especially because it’s sometimes hard to find the original thank you and first impressions threads.

**Sephora Pro Crease 19 Comparison**

-Here are some slightly random comparisons of similar crease brushes in my collection. In some cases, I didn't really have anything too similar in comparison, but I tried my best. I also feel like I must have a couple of missing brushes that I need to locate - yikes!

The Pro Crease 19 is fantastic so far. It very efficiently gets shadow placed in the crease and even begins to blend it at the same time. It is also so very nice and soft (I absolutely cannot stand scratchy crease brushes, so I really appreciate how gentle this one is). It does such a nice and quick job of evenly applying matte shadows along the crease.

@PrettyPaint I love a good crease brush.  I have smaller, slightly hooded eyes so I have a hard time finding crease brushes that I like and it's helpful to see the new Sephora one compared to some of your others.

@PrettyPaint  Hooray for more comparison photos! I love how nice the Sephora brush looks in that line of Sonia Gs, WGs, and MACs. ❤️ 

Side note: I’m always amazed by how clean other people’s MAC 217s look. I think mine is permanently stained now; doesn’t help that I use it so often, it seems like it’s perpetually dirty. 😄 I fully expect my Sephora PRO 19 to suffer the same fate.

I think the apparent cleanliness of my Mac 217 is slightly deceiving due to the lighting 🙂 But I also have two of them, so I probably put the better looking one in the photo.

I used to have two 217s. Well, technically I still do, but one’s in retirement until I fix its loose ferrule. I use a Sonia G blender (the Blender Pro) even more often than the 217 nowadays, but it’s much newer than both my 217s and its brown bristles don’t show product stains as well as the white 217 bristles. 😄

Thanks @WinglessOne. I have always enjoyed my 217s, but I'm starting to find them to be getting a little too scratchy. I don't know if it's because the brushes are getting older or I'm getting older (with more sensitive skin), but I also tend to gravitate a bit more towards my Sonia G brushes 🙂
