There seems to be a few brands doing collabs, with influencers and other brands. I'm hitting 'pause' on picking up any more brushes (and other things) for a bit @danielledanielle. At the very least until I have the chance to clean and use the ones I ordered earlier this month.
Judging by the photos of the pots and the shine on the lips in photos... I'm going to need to swatch this in store before buying. I'm not sure why, but it's reminding me of a Body Shop potted lip gloss from the 90s.
100% agree with swatching in store first @missjeanie; I'm that way in general when it comes to blushers but yes, the photos just confirm that, lol. Unless a few of you who wear blush more often than I do say these are ones that need to be looked into stat, I don't know if I'll be picking one up anytime soon as the blush in my stash somehow morphed into a ... collection. Like, where did these all come from?!!! 🙄 Some I recall picking up; others, not so much. 🤣
The coloring is different but the packaging makes me think of the Bobbi Brown lip/cheek pots and the consistency of the product is bringing to mind a L'Oreal lip gloss pot that was discontinued probably decades ago. Yep, I'm vintage. 😉 And yes, those Cargo lip glosses @danielledanielle (I think I decluttered mine last year or maybe the year before?)
@danielledanielle @itsfi Yes!! Oh my gosh. Are they still a brand? I haven't heard them mentioned in years.
I think they're gone, but not? Like they show up on Amazon, but I very much didn't it's the Cargo cosmetics @missjeanie
Interestingly though, a search led me back to BIC

@danielledanielle @itsfi It's funny the thread you posted talks about Sephora inside JCP and Sears. No more Sears up here either. I keep having the word 'goopy' coming to mind anytime I look at the photo. I hope I'm wrong.
@missjeanie@danielledanielle, just based on a quick swatch of a few shades, the consistency is on the emollient side, with a certain viscosity to it that will give it a slightly tacky to the touch feel that seems to linger for a while so I imagine you'd need to set it if you're using it as a blush interestingly, I've heard that the product is much less tacky on the lips than the cheeks. Applies much more sheer than the color appears in the pot, color is buildable.
@itsfi Would you think of it as a lip product, a cheek product, or a true multi use? Did it make you want to pick up a shade?
That's a good question @missjeanie. When I was swatching the different shades, I was on board with them as lip products but wasn't sure about them as blush. Giving it a little more thought, particularly to it as a blush, I could see it working well as such, if applied with a brush - that would / could do a nice job of distributing the color which can easily be sheered out or built up. Initially, I was thinking of it applied with fingers and I didn't see these giving as smooth a finish or application as a product with a cream formulation though to be fair that was me making a guess about it without having actually trying to apply it that way.
Oh, there was definitely a shade I wanted to get, as a lip product, after seeing them in person and swatching some shades, and it was not the one I thought I would go for as a lip color - MAKEUP BY MARIO Jelly Jar™ Lip & Cheek Multi-Use Balm Berry Toasty - the berry is less pink/fuchsia, and more on the plummier brown side - the "toasty" aspect of the product name is apt. I think you may like the purple/plum hue to it. I'm not sure how that shade would work for me as blush though.
U Beauty coming to Sephora, online only, 12.26
I've used a handful of products from the brand, including the lip tint, tinted moisturizer and fragrance. The tinted moisturizer leaves a very, very dewy finish. Depending on your skin type, it may take some time to absorb and require setting (likely for most). I was going to say that the shade range could be expanded but I see there's a larger shade range than when it originally came out 🙌. Shades are blendable and sheer enough that they can be made to work with a range of skin color, but it ooks like it could still use a few more shades to better round out the selection.
A new(?) foundation coming from Armani Beauty, 12.22
At a quick glance, some difference between this new product and the popular Luminous Silk Natural Glow Foundation as follows:
Similarities - price ($48) and claims of 24-hour wear
The main reason for the change is one of the silicones @itsfi , I think it's EU banned. Javon Ford did a quick recap on this. I think they also added more olive shades, which is great.
I also noticed that it's not available for samples via the spend $25 get 3 samples. Wondering if that was the older formula and a way to decrease stock 🤔
@danielledanielle I saw the same video. He mentioned the cyclopentasiloxane if I remember. I wonder what else is going to get reformulated to remove that ingredient.
Keep forgetting to post, Mob Beauty has a burgundy mascara
And not so new, but as (I think) @missjeanie mentioned, other shades of PATRICK TA Mini Major Headlines Double-Take Crème & Powder Blush Duo on the way 12/18... Except She's left me on Red, interestingly though product page notes a delay
@danielledanielle I'm loving the mini's from PT. I'm sure I'll picking up another shade!
At first response, I was like no.... But it's actually yes. @CookieGirl1 , not memorable. I got one as a gift with one of their pre assembled palettes when they first hit Beautylish. It's probably not a bad mascara. I have decent length lashes, but they are straight, so if a mascara isn't colored, or thickening, I'm usually neutral on it. It's hard for me to get a lengthening one that's discernable.

The Longevity Youth Restoring Cream for Elasticity & Brightness - Tatcha | Sephora
@itsfi Part of me loves the name of this one.... part of me gives side eye and wonders if it can really do all that. Do we think I could look like I'm 25 again with this guy?? Hmmmmm.
