It's 2025 and we're on YEAR EIGHT (8) of the Pan It! Challenge 🍾
The "Rules"
To accommodate a variety of interests, you all are encouraged to pick items to pan that are most suitable to your collections. For some, this might mean focusing on a particular type of product (like lipstick) and for others this may include a larger variety spanning your entire makeup or skincare routine.
Getting Started (please share the following)

Tips and Tricks to Panning/Getting Some Use Out of Your Stash:
Ideas to Help You Pan Those Items:
Past Panning Challenges:
For those of you who are interested in trying the challenge but fear you may not finish or move as quickly as others, remember:
Items being evicted from the Shelves of Shame in May 2025:
BBW body cream in Stress Relief Eucalyptus + Tea: notes are eucalyptus oil and tea extract. My partners favorite BBW scents are the fresh, eucalyptus and/or mint ones. This one was a bit strong for me and I don’t like it as much as the normal Eucalyptus + Spearmint scent. Something about the tea doesn’t do it for me (for once).
BBW body cream in Sun-Ripened Raspberry: notes are sun-ripened raspberries, strawberry leaves, and sugar crystals. This scent has been a staple for me since like 1999 when it was a very distinct shade of purple for the shower gel and the artwork/label photo was really soft and muted. Seriously, my dad always bought me Sun-Ripened Raspberry and he would always buy my sister Sweet Pea as part of birthday or Christmas presents. I’m thrilled it came back for a brief time, but it’s not quite identical to what I remember from the old days. I think this one is a bit more punchy and sharp compared to the OG fragrance. I’d still buy it again though if it comes back.
Method shampoo in Simply Nourish: notes are coconut, rice milk, and shea butter. This is supposed to be the “nourishing” line. It’s pretty heavy for my hair and I previously only used it in cold months when the air was much drier and colder, but it needed to be used up. Would not repurchase any of the Method shampoos, as I tend to do better with sulfate-containing shampoos.
NOT SHOWN - previously decanted products into clear packaging for Crow Brain and finally used them up:
Method conditioner in Daily Zen (cucumber, seaweed, and green tea) and Simply Nourish (see shampoo above). Both of these were fine, but not my faves in the long run. Something about these formulas also tended to make my shower drain here a bit cloggy.
CANDLES
BBW Springtime In Paris: notes are soft peach, lotus blossom, and fresh bergamot. Lovely, fresh, and soft without being too peachy or fake like peach rings. Perfect for spring when the flowers started coming out. I also loved the artwork of the few I burned this month that had this beautiful stained glass look. I’d love if BBW brought bag this art style.
BBW Fresh Cut Lilacs: notes are lilac bouquets, dewy greens, and soft spring air. Another staple for me for springtime. Lilac is my favorite spring scent and this captures it perfectly. I’ll happily get another one next year, as long as I like the artwork.
BBW Eucalyptus Rain: notes are aromatic eucalyptus, spearmint leaves, and fresh spring rain. This was the only really “fresh” candle I had burning this month, and it was a nice break from florals. It’s not as memorable as the others, but I still enjoyed it.
BBW Dahlia: notes are dahlia petals, crisp pear, and praline. I wouldn’t have dreamed up this combination of notes myself, but they come together so harmoniously and that praline really does make it stand out in a great way. I’d like this one in a three-wick with nicer artwork (eventually).
That was a lovely bit of nostalgia with the B&BW Sun-Ripened Raspberry @KeriCherryDee! I remember that original packaging. 😊 The artwork on those candles are really pretty; springtime vibes.

Hope everyone is doing well (with your panning projects and in general!) 💜 I'll be back around the end of May (hopefully) with an update on my progress!
Loving all the skincare I'm seeing here @caitbird. And, of course, love seeing you, too, Frida!! 😻
Woah, impressive work on that Glossier concealer - there's a lot of product packed in there and you have really put a lot of use into it - brava!! That TonyMoly toner sounds so good - ceramides?! Mochi-like bouncy skin? 💞 You'll get through the bottle - just gotta take it one use at a time!
@itsfi thank you so much! I do like the TonyMoly toner, I am just trying not to think about how long it's going to take me to get through lol 😅
@caitbird, lol, I can appreciate that. I'm sure a little goes a long way as well with that toner. I feel like with skincare, it's about using it consistently, whether it's once a week or every day, year round or just seasonally. It won't be overnight, but you'll see progress.
April progress on my hair products.
Full size:
Kérastase Blond Absolu Hydrating Illuminating Shampoo
An old favorite. Will repurchase.
Samples:
Gisou Mini Honey Infused Hair Oil 0.7 oz/ 20 mL Smells nice, but does not absorb into my hair or really do much. I would classify this as "nice, but not for me."
RANAVAT Mighty Majesty- Fortifying Repair & Shine Hair Serum 1.7 oz/ 50 mL I wanted to love this, but no. Just no. A greasy mess. Had a hard time washing it out. Smells like a mushroom-shaped room deodorizer that my grandmother had years ago.
Moroccanoil Hydrating Shampoo This was my Sephora birthday gift last year. I had seen mixed reviews of this product, so I was not sure what to expect. I thought it was ok. It is not super-hydrating, but on the other hand, it did not weight my hair down. I had to use a lot of it to get a good clean. I might purchase this as part of my shampoo rotation, but still on the fence.
Kérastase Nutritive Heat Protecting Leave-In Spray for Dry Hair 5.1 oz / 150 ml Nice, but not for me. A little too light.
Moroccanoil Blonde Perfecting Purple Conditioner Used this accidentally as a shampoo initially, so can confirm it makes a nice co-wash. I have naturally blonde hair, and do not typically purchase purple products, but I would consider this one.
Plan for May is to finish my Moroccanoil products, then move on to Fable and Mane and then maybe Christophe Robin.
