I am planning to give my mother and sister night time Korean skin care ritual sets for Christmas. I bought towelettes, toner, the Amore Pacific exfoliator, and Lancome Energie de Vie essence. I am planning to give them gift certificates to pick out their own serum. I assume they already have a water-based cleanser and moisturizer. Can anyone recommend a guide for me to include? (I still haven't figured out whether to put sunscreen or Philosophy Total Matteness on first!)
What do you reccomendthat I use on my very long blonde color treated hair it's in excellent condition so far. I really want to keep it this Way but I'm afraid that the hot curlers and flat iron might possibly be doing a little damage what do you recommend that I use. Thanks for any help you could give me appreciate it
Hello! I am 27, and have oily/combination/sensitive skin that is very acne prone. I get breakouts all over the face, but especially on the cheeks and chin area. (I've been dealing with acne for over 12+ yrs). I am looking to purchase a Clarisonic device, and wasn't sure which one to get. Should I get the Mia1 or Mia 2? (Is there a huge difference between the delicate/universal speed setting? Thank you!
I am currently in my 3rd month of Accutane. I am almost done with my Boscia Makeup Breakup Oil. I saw that Murad had something similar. For those that have used both which one do you prefer? The Boscia one hasn't irritated my skin so not sure if the Murad one would. To remove my makeup or just clean my face I first use a makeup wipe to remove the initial layer and then to get in deeper I use the Bosica breakup oil.
I've never tried eye shadow before, but I really want to start. I'm just not sure what colors would look good on me! I have medium skin with a yellow undertone (more specifically 3Y08). What colors or even eye shadow palettes would you guys recommend for me?
Hi everyone! I've been getting really into wearing more colorful liquid eyeliners lately, but I've had one problem: on Sephora.com, the top-rated ones are usually black, brown, or grey! I really would prefer to use a liquid, or a gel if I really have to. So, my question to you is: what is the best liquid eyeliner that comes in colors such as gold, silver, blue, etc.?
I'm travelling to Vancouver in a couple of weeks. One of the things I found on my last visit was the brand, Cake. I bought one of their dry shampoo powders. I'm curious to know what brands/products that will be new to me I should take a serious look at? Perhaps some holiday gift sets as well?
Hello! I am in love with the new VICE 3 shades! My favourite is "DTF". The palette is a bit too pricey for me, so I'm posting on here to see if there is any other eye shadow out there that resembles the "DTF one? (Any brand) Thanks!!
I am 26 year old and my skin type is dry-combination My skin concerns : occasional acne, uneven skin tone, dulness My life style: I go to school 3 times a week, and the rest of my time i am home. I do not work because I have a Student Visa, and I am not allowed to work unless I apply for a working authorization. So most of my time I am home. My current skin regiment Cleanse -Clarisonic Mia 2 ( once a day, at night ) -OH African Red Tea Cleanser ( twice a day) Toner -Arcona Cramberry Toner AM moisturizer -Nude Puriying daily moisturizer Treatment (PM only and i alternate between two) -OH Invigorating night treatment -Caudalie Detox Oil PM moisturizer -Fresh Seaberry Oil (on top of the OH invigorating treatment) DURING THE DAY, I FEEL LIGHT MY MOISTURIZER IS TOO LIGHT, AND MY SKIN FEELS TIGHT. MY QUESTION IS DO I NEED TO ADD A PRODUCT THAT IS MORE HYDRATING TO MY SKIN LIKE A MASK, OR A SERUM. IF YES PLEASE GIVE ME SOME SUGGESTIONS ABOUT I SHOULD USE
My skin is very dry year round, especially in the winter. To hydrate my skin, I currently use: - Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ - Clinique All About Eyes Rich - Lush Oatifix Face Mask All of these products I love but I find are not enough to keep my skin constantly hydrated. I am looking for suggestions of the best cleansers for dry skin, along with any other products that will be effective in combating my dry skin?
Happy Sunday all! I currently wear BB's Creamy Concealor Kit in Warm Beige. I'm looking at purchasing her under eye corrector...I have some dark circles...they're not terribly pronounced, but even under concealor they are visible. I have come to understand( Tx to BT!!) that a peach-ish color is good to offset the color of circles; mine are blueish. Any suggestions as to what shade to try? There's a light peach, and a peach amongst other colors. I would obviously be using this prior to concealor....Anyone used it, heard about it, thoughts? I'm open to other brands/suggestions as well. TX so much for your time! ~KAM
You see I don't have fair or medium skin,it looks like olive skin only lighter (in the winter,in the summer it turns more medium) I don't burn, freckle,or peel, and I'm really struggling to find foundation/bb cream/powder that will match, everything looks cakes if I get a product that's too light, and It doesn't look natural if I grab something darker. If anyone could help that would be great!
Hey everyone! I got color matched in store. I'm wearing NARS Sheer Glow in Macao. It matches color wise, but for some reason it just doesn't look right. It looks too yellow and my skin looks sallow and flat. Then I tried MUFE in #75 and my skin looked red. How can I get my foundation to look better ? I need a foundation that can make my skin look brighter and to match my undertones. I have combination/dry skin and lots of dark spots btw. Thanks!
Sorry if someone already posted this... December 4, 1:00 Am pst on the Urban Decay website. My video review if anyone is interested. I really like it…lots of light shades and more of the old style UD shimmer (so not all will agree). Reminds me a little of the Nars Dual intensity shadows.
Hey everyone! Deciding wether to splurge on Vice 3 (which I really do love all of the colors) or a custom Inglot palette. I'd heard Vice 3 wasn't as good but I'd really like to hear what everyone here thinks. Thanks
ive tried so many shampoos (i dont use conditioner) and it never solves my oily, itchy, and smelly hair. my hair is like a blanket and I lose a lot of hair after taking a hair shower. Ive tried so many shampoos that worked at first then fade its usefulness in a couple of days. i really need something that will solve my hair problem! Thanks
I need new face wash or a full out new ritual because I still haven't found any type of skincare solution to actually use. I am in my early 20s and have had chronic acne for years. I have used many products in an attempt to help my chronic acne including: Murad, Josie Maran, Stridex, Neutrogena, and tea tree oil products from The Body Shop. Nothing is working and I'm getting very fed up. I have combination skin, but the only area I really get acne in is my cheeks, chin, and around my mouth. In these areas it tend to get very oily. In the photo I uploaded, you can kind of see what my current situation is. Does anyone have any recommendations? I tried to use the online Sephora Skincare i.d., but it recommended me a plethora of products and I don't even know where to start. I am also considering purchasing the Clarisonic Mia System. Any thoughts?
