is the Korres Wild Rose + Vitamin C Advanced Brightening Sleeping Facial that amazing?
hey everybody, lately I've been hearing a  lot of people talking about how great this mask is. I've been thinking about buying it but it's a little expensive. the main reason i want to buy this is because i have an uneven skin tone and acne scars. Right now i' m looking for a new face mask and moisturizer for my oily and acne prone skin and i thought this would be great. Is this ok to use on oily and acne prone skin? How fast will you see results? please help.

Sweatproof/ Waterproof/ SPF
Hello! I am looking for either a foundation/ tinted moisturizer/ etc to wear on my face during the summer for an easy makeup application. I would like it to have SPF as I will be out in the sun, as well as sweatproof, so it is not dripping down my face in the middle of the day. Let me know what my best options are! I just bought the Dior BB cream which has spf 30, however I am seeing it wipe off a little here and there, so I am not sure it would be able to outlast sweat and water.  Thanks!

recommend a sunscreen for face, not shiny
Know importance of sunscreen esp. for face/neck, but most sunscreens alone or w/ color foundations are shiny.  I try to powder, but oil absorbs it.  Reluctant to use sunscreen, but usually opt for moisturizing sunscreen, shiny face w/ no color foundation.  Better than no sunscreen @ my high altitude,  but not a great look.  Can't afford high end products, but will pay for a high end product that will last & can be used for face & eye area  Thank You!

How can I dye my medium brown hair blonde?
I have medium brown hair similiar to the picture below I really want to go blonde like this:   How can I do that without completely destroying my hair or having it come out orange?   I take fairly good care of my hair, I deep condition it once a week and use a repairing conditioner on other days and I use a clarifying shampoo once a week. My hair is quite soft and healthy looking now, I don't want to dye it and have it be brittle and dead looking. Also, what is the best way to dye my hair blonde and have it look natural?

I'm having a Beauty Moment, you?
What beauty moment are you having right now?  Are you currently into the bright lipstick look?  All neutrals?  The bronzed look?  Trying a different hairstyle everyday?    My current beauty moment is mixing blushes.  I'm usually a one and done type of girl, but since I've purchased the LORAC blushes (um, all of them!) that were on sale a while back I've started to mix blush colors- a cream blush layered with a complimenting powder blush; a bright blush muted with a skin colored blush; blush bronzer mix.   Next, I'm gravitating towards lightening up my eye looks.  As it's getting warmer (and stickier in DC) I'm softening my eye looks and layers of colors to one soft color and a bright eyeliner (or just brown or black). What beauty moment are you having?

Is giving perfume/cologne as a wedding gift okay?
My older brother is getting married next month to his girlfriend of five years and I would like to get them something different, so I thought what better than matching perfumes? I am thinking D&G Light Blue for Femme and for Homme since they are fresh scents that appeal to most everyone. Is this okay? My other sibling pointed out that they may not like it and thus never use them, but I argued that they are good quality expensive perfumes that neither would ever think of purchasing for themselves. What do you think? Is this a good gift that they will enjoy, or am I way off the charts?

Allergy to only red lipstick?
Last Christmas I used a drugstore red lipstick, and by the end of the day I was covered in hives.  The next day I had to take myself to a care now, get two epi en shots and a steroid injection, then stay doped up on benadryl the next two days! Weirdly enough though, I use red hair dye like every week, and I can use red lip liner to color my brows, but as soon as it touches my lips I get at lease one hive. The drug store brand doesn't list ingredients so I can't figure it out that way, is the only way for me to figure out which red dye I'm allergic to by picking and choosing different products with different dyes until I'm not allergic to one?  Or should I just give up on my red lipped quest?

How long should you steam your face?
I just started doing at-home steaming after I heard a lot of great things about it-- put my face over a hot pot of water with a towel over my head. That is as far as I know.    SO, how long do I have to do this for to have an effect? At least 5 mins? 10 mins? No more than 15? No less than 5?   Are there also any specific things I should/must do so that I actually get a result?   My skin is acne prone and I am south asian with fair skin tone.

SERUM that targets blemishes?
Hi ladies! I am 21 years old and i want to start using serums. The main factor that I am considering is if the serum will lighten up my blemishes. I have a few on my cheeks and i hate them! >:X Also, it would also be a plus if the serum will have anti aging effect so I can use it as a prevention against wrinkles. And lastly, I have oily skin that gets breakouts during those times of the month.   Can you recommend me a good serum that delivers those abovementioned results?   Thanks in advance, ladies!

MUFE Duo mat discontinued?
So a while back in Jan and even recently i asked the MUFE location near me if the duo mat was still being discontinued and they said yes. Then 2.5 mons ago i wrote to MUFE to ask them and they just NOW responded with this: "Thank you for your interest in MAKE UP FOR EVER. We have heard our consumers loud and clear, we will not be making any changes to the current distribution of duo mat. The quantities and shades available will remain the same. Please know that your customer satisfaction is greatly valued and we appreciate your feedback."   UPDATE: response email to clarify "Due to overwhelming customer response and love for the product, Duo Mat is no longer be discontinued. It is our priority to service you and meet your needs. However, if your local Sephora is out of stock on your favorite shade, you may always place a phone order through our NYC Studio."   I hope this is the case as the duo mat does keep me mat longer.

I love makeup so much and I was wondering what I need to do about this obsession and if I can wear make up in public. I have wanted to play with makeup for about a year now and i have loved when girls put makeup on me or i use some of my moms. I would love to take this to a new level and start wearing makeup in public or just buying makeup and trying it on at home and practicing. Some day i would love to be a makeup artist. I would also need a way to do this without my parents knowing and how would i buy the makeup i want.

Whats that beauty item that always tempts you but you never actually make the purchase?
So we're always posting on hauls and stuff, and I thought this would be an interesting twist. Lots of us have that one (or more) thing that we eye every time we go into sephora/ sephora website, and we want to get it but we don't. What is yours? What about it tempts you? and Why don't you get it?   I''ll start. For sephora.com, I would definitely say the urban decay eyeliner vault.  All those shades are so tempting, and I am such a junkie for pretty colors. But it is too expensive too buy all of them, especially that I already have too many eyeliners, so I always tell myself that I wouldn't use all those colors anyways.

Going Against the Grain: Products Others Rave Over, You Don't
Alright, this is a thread that I've thought about starting for a long time but have been trying to consider how best to approach it without starting a flame war or offending anyone.   Disclaimer: this thread is not for people who love these products to try to convince those who don't love their favorites that they're wrong, to try again, etc.  Trying to make anyone feel bad for their opinion will not be tolerated. Nor will "beauty evangelizing." Likewise, please remain polite when you talk about the products you just don't like.   So, what products do you go against the beauty grain?  What are those consensus favorites that you just don't like?   I'll start.   I'm just not a fan of the Urban Decay Naked palettes. I know they're widely considered a HG product and everyone " has to have them! ".  I understand why they're considered a value from an intellectual perspective.  But I don't own any of them, and won't. I often bite my tongue because they seem to be the only answer repeated thread and after thread.

Viggle App!
This is off topic but i noticed a ShopKick post awhile back and i do use it! But i am loving Viggle. It the same concept as shopkick where you check in and get points to redeem things. But you do it with Tv shows! I don't know about you ladies but i watch plenty of TV! You just sync it to your tv, it catches what your watching and you get a point for every minute you watch it! They have featured shows where you get more point as well! I think it is great! I've had this already for a few days and have 1,500 + points! You get gift cards you can redeem for a certain amount of points. For instance Starbucks gift cards are 12,500 points, and i assume it would be a $10 gift card. And they have a Sephora Gift Card for 20,000 points! I think i will be there in no time! Anyone else use this or think they will now??!!!
