(Not to be confused with the Nordstrom's fashion rewards!) I would call this Nordstrom's version of Beauty Insider as membership is free, and every 100 pt qualifies for a deluxe-sized sample and 500 pts a "premium beauty reward." Apparently this program is still in initial stages, and only a handful of stores are currently participating. Online beauty purchases count towards the points but rewards can only be redeemed at the participating stores at the moment. List of participating stores: Cherry Creek Shopping Center, Christiana Mall, City Creek Center, Easton Town Center, Fashion Mall, Freehold Raceway Mall, International Plaza, Montclair Plaza, Oakbrook Center, Park Meadows, Roosevelt Field, Saint Louis Galleria, San Francisco Centre, Scottsdale Fashion Square, Spokane, The Mall at Green Hills, The Shops at Mission Viejo, Town Center at Boca Raton, Valley Fair and Waterside. Thoughts? Has anyone redeemed said reward(s)?

Hi, everyone! I know that with Christmas coming up, we BeautyTalkers look for beauty bargains on discount sites. Here's how to check if you bought expired makeup: 1) Google checkcosmetic and click on the first site. 2) On the left where it says Cosmetic Calculator, choose the item's brand . 3) Find the batch number on your makeup. Most of the time it's stamped on the outer packaging/box, and it's a mix of numbers and letters, like A27. 4) The production month and year should come up. Ewww, January 2007... This should help when you're buying makeup from sites like eBay and Amazon, so you don't waste money on discounted, expired makeup. Even if it seems new, I feel like using an expired product from an unknown person is still... questionable. Of course, check if any seals are broken, packaging design is wrong, etc. etc. Just a tip I'd thought to share. Happy shopping! <3
Hi girls! So I ordered quite a few of the $10 steals and I thought it would be fun for us to write up mini review on them for each other. Mine arrived last night, so I've only tried two so far. Eyeko Mascara/Eyeliner (still available) I was SO excited to try the Eyeko Skinny Eyeliner.... and it wasn't very pigmented. Maybe it is a little dry and I need to shake it up (??) and try again tomorrow. I'll report back. I haven't tried the mascara yet but the wand is very unique. http://www.sephora.com/skinny-mini-duo-P377021?sku Id=1470962 Caudalie Hand Cream and Lip Conditioner Duo (sold out- individual links below) I had been wanting to try the lip conditioner and I constantly use hand lotion so this was perfect for me. The lip conditioner is very smooth and smells nice. The hand lotion smells sooooo good (sort of citrusy?) and my hands feel lovely! What do you guys think of your $10 sets? http://www.sephora.com/lip-conditioner-P6034?skuId =241653 http://www.sephora.com/h-nail-cream-P152203?skuId= 941609

We love you Poshified and I hope you have a GREAT heart party!!!
So I still haven't spent the $50 to get $20 off. Ive bought smaller items but for some reason I haven't been able to find the right item for this deal. I think it's comical because I don't seem to have a problem with spending money at sephora… I just want to feel like Im getting a deal on a really good item. (I don't want to waste it). Anyone else out there still have their $20 off $50?
I can't remember which thread it was on, but one of y'all mentioned Nordstrom's Rack having makeup and beauty products. And, dang, sure enough mine did!! How'd I NOT know this? Well... this is what just one shelf looked like, and there were about 5 like this: And, why yes that DOES day UD eyeliner for under $4... And I got ALL these polishes!! Ack!
im 22 and my skin battle with acne hasnt been too dramatic but ive been wanting to buy a serum that wont clog my pores i currently have the elizabeth arden prevage anti-aging daily serum but i keep getting blackheads all over my cheeks which for the most part are the normal part of my face and dont even get me started on my forehead so if you could please point out some good products i would appreciate it ps my skin is also extremely sensitive bummer i know
Hello all! I was just wondering what everyone's favorite part of their morning beauty routine is just for fun!! Whether it's playing around with all your different eyeshadow colors, putting on your blush for some rosy cheeks, swiping on your favorite lipstick, making your hair look flawless, or even that last spray of perfume. Personally, I just love picking out what lipstick/lipgloss combo I'm going to finish off my look with. I am a lipstick girl all the way!! What's your favorite??
Did anyone else get sucked in to Ulta's cyber monday and still not even get a shipping notice? I never order from Ulta but they had some gifts I missed out on or didn't have at Sephora (the $10 Art of Shaving kit for my BIL, a $19 Bare Minerals kit for my SIL) and the free gift looked nice. I ordered just after midnight on sunday night/monday morning and it still says "order processing" and since it's been 5 days the pending charges aren't even on m CC anymore. I know other people are having the same issues because their Facebook page is blowing up and they sent an email out letting everyone know they are experiencing delays. They said it will still be here within 10 business days (which is really 2 weeks) but I am not confident my order will complete or have the free gift (if something is OOS it will mess up my christmas shopping because I thought I was done). I get it's shopping season, but in comparison, all my other holiday orders have been here for a few days. My Sephora CM order that I placed late on Monday got here Wednesday. My giftopia order was only 1 or 2 days behind, which wasn't bad at all. I'm on day 6 with Ulta. Anyone else having holiday shipping woes or get sucked into Ulta? I knew I was a Sephora girl before, but I can say with confidence now that Sephora > Ulta. Plus, Sephora's CS has always been good to me. Ulta doesn't seem to be handling this well. UPDATE: I received a shipping notice last night 12/9 for 2 of my items. It says the label was created so I'm not sure when I am getting them. At least I will be getting them. STILL waiting for 3 other items to ship/praying they aren't out of stock. If they are, I "loved" 3 back up Christmas gifts from Sephora. Hopefully I will know soon if I need to pull the trigger! 2ND UPDATE: Finally got a shipping notice when I woke up this morning 12/11. It *should* all be here Friday. I'm just glad I got the shipping notice. It wasn't about WHEN it would get here, it was about IF it would get here--especially since everything except the GWP was Christmas gifts for other people.
Is this a great product and is it right for me? I have fair, 40's skin with pinky/red undertones and bluish veins. I have some visible pores. I am wanting the color, Diffused Light . It sounds perfect! Is it over-hyped (as some say) or worth it? Any other suggestions? Please help! Thanks!
Hey ladies (and gents?) – As 2013 is coming to a close, I thought we’d like to share the best products we discovered/tried/bought this year. Let’s break it into sub-categories. I’ll go first Face – Laura Mercier Silk Crème foundation – I feel like this is my holy grail foundation, but I still want to try others. Eyes – Laura Mercier Artist palette – It won’t be a Laura Mercier list, I promise Lips – Dior Crème de Rose lip balm Best deal – I’m going to cheat and say two: All the mini perfumes for 100 points instead of 250 points and the Nars Guy Bourdin blush palette PS – Sorry I’ve started waaay too many threads the past few days. That’s what cabin fever will do to ya! Well, that and draining your wallet from all the online shopping you do. Lol PPS - Feel free to add other categories as well, these were the only ones I could think of at the moment.
Hi all, so I've been using makeup a long time, and I've always bought the less expensive items, NYX is probably the most luxurious makeup item I own but I want to change that and begin buying some higher end items to add to my already large collection. With that said what are the top five items I should look into picking up first? Thanks!

I am being seduced by the cheek and bronzer brushes by Tom Ford, but each is so bleepin' expensive I'm not sure I could justify the price. Then again, I'm looking for the dreamiest, softest blush brush and all-over face powder brush. Are these what I'm looking for? If not, which one(s) do you prefer?
From yahoo: "The set features deluxe size samples of MAKE UP FOR EVER's Smoky Extravagant mascara and Rouge Artist Natural lipstick in N9." For the men: Sephora is offering its male Beauty Insiders a reason to celebrate with an exclusive gift from JACK BLACK. The deluxe-sized sample of JACK BLACK Performance Remedy™ Turbo Wash™ Energizing Cleanser for Hair & Body contains rosemary, eucalyptus and juniper berry for a refreshing sensory boost any time of day.
So McDonalds decided to start serving poutine across Canada. I'm pretty sure it was available in the Quebec McDonalds but now it's gonna be across the country. This kinda annoys me even if I don't like McDonalds (probably because I had too much late night McDick's back in college).... I mean they are ruining a national dish!!! If people who never had poutine before decide to have it from McDonalds for the first time... pretty sure they won't like it... ah! marde de clown! My fellow Canucks what do you think? My American friends... never have poutine at McDonalds! THIS IS NOT POUTINE THIS IS POUTINE End of rant!
Hi everyone!!! This is a follow up post to my male celebrity crushes post from a few weeks ago! If you could marry any male celebrity, who would it be? I would marry Henry Cavill. That man is fineeeeeee. But he's 12 years older than me I have him as my phone background and my computer screen saver 3, 2, 1, GO!!!! P.S. I really should be studying for my finals but, I'm too stressed, tired, and don't want to anymore. :/
Which Benefit Box-O-Powders do you have & (If you have more than one) 1.Which is your favorite? 2.Which one do you use during Spring/Summer/Fall/Winter? 3.Which is your least favorite? 4. Would you buy more?
So I'm searching for a CC Cream that works for my skin tone. I have medium skin color with yellow-ish undertones. I have combination skin with some redness and uneveness. Recommendations please! I do not want anything too pink. Thanks! XO
This morning my husband accidentally spilled his coffee all over my vanity...right on my beautiful display do Urban Decay palettes. I learned they are NOT coffee-proof! While that was a might bit disappointing...I actually felt worse for him...he felt terrible! And he says "those were probably expensive....probably like twenty bucks or something." Thinking no comment from me....but I hope they dry out! Yikes!
I discovered lip products with menthol make my lips break out in tiny bumps! why can't my skin just stop being such a sissy and suckit up?? i feel like a little girl in time out during recess while all my other friends play all day errday with their fragrance, parfum, menthol, sulfate-laden products. Whyyy, skin, whyyyyyy??? :'(
I have two VIB beauty insider accounts, one is my online account and the other my in store account. I am pretty sure they are under the same email so I don't know why they aren't together. The only thing is I don't want to lose my points, I have over 500 on my in store account and about 200 online. Is there a way to connect the and not lose the points? Thanks!
I tried the trick where you keep adding items into your cart until the VIB rogue banner pops up at the top of your cart, and I had to add almost 500$ worth of items! That means I've only spent $500 this year, and I've definitely spent more than that (qualified for VIB, then spent at least another $250 during the sale)! I know my online purchases don't show everything that I've actually bought (ie stuff that's in store only, so is there a way to find out how much more I need?
Over summer, I had my Color IQ done at Sephora and was matched to 1y06. This suggests that I have yellow undertones, six shades deep. I purchased a recommended foundation MUFE HD Mat Velvet Foundation in 140 (light-medium with yellow undertones). I use bb cream daily and save foundation for special events. I used some on my nose & chin today but I looked quite yellow. Especially since I had used it on my chin and it didn't match my neck (which is lighter & seems neutral). I wonder if it's because I was darker/tan in summer, but I blush pink (not coral at all). So... Am I warm, neutral, or cool? I'm thinking of returning my foundation for 130 or 135 which are more neutral/beige undertones. Any thoughts? It seems like many people assume east Asians to be all warm (since many of us are yellow). I would love your thoughts on finding the right foundation!
