For more than 15 years, our Beauty Insider Community has been a place for Sephora die-hards to talk about their favorite products, ask questions about routines, and show off their favorite looks. While this was a difficult decision, we've loved seeing this group thrive and we're incredibly proud of what we've built together.
We'll be here every step of the way as we start to wind things down. ๐ค Here's what to expect along the way...

When is the last day I can use the Forum?
The last day to contribute new posts and content to the Forum is June 3. Starting June 3, Forum content will remain available in a read-only state until early August, so be sure to copy or take any screenshots you may want to save in the meantime!
If the Forum is going away, how do I get in touch with Sephora?
There are still ways to connect with us! Find us on social, or head to our customer service hub here: sephora.com/beauty/customer-service
Will Reviews, Q&A, and Gallery continue to be supported longโterm?
Yes! We hope you continue posting your selfies, shopping hauls, and videos on the Gallery, sounding off on products in Ratings & Reviews, and sharing your beauty expertise in Questions & Answers on product pages.
What happens to my profile picture?
Customized profile photos will be going away on June 3 as part of the Forum closure.
What happens to my username or nickname?
Your Community username is here to stay! It will continue to be associated with any Gallery posts, Ratings and Reviews on product pages, or Question & Answer content you share.
What happens to my badges, ranks, or status levels?
We will say goodbye to Community badges and ranks (for example, FRESH FACE II, RISING STAR III, ICON I) when the Forum retires. Your Beauty Insider tier (Insider, VIB, or Rouge) or any progress on active Beauty Insider Challenges will not be affected! Your BI points will also be unaffected.
Will all my content go away?
Only your Forum contentโincluding your profile (sephora.com/profile/me) and postsโwill be going away as we say goodbye to the Community Forum. We encourage you to continue sharing content with your fellow Sephora shoppers on the Community Gallery, Ratings & Reviews on product pages, and Questions & Answers on product pages!
Is there a way to save my posts?
We encourage you to save down any photos or screenshots you want to keep of your beautiful Forum content before it closes! To see all of your posts, go to the Forum home at community.sephora.com and then click โMy Postsโ to see your activity history.
How long will I have access to save my content ?
You will have the ability to screenshot or save any of your content until the Forum closes in August.
What will happen to all my profile/account information?
Your Community profile (sephora.com/profile/me) will go away as we say goodbye to the Community Forum. You can continue to view your other Sephora information in the following places:
-Beauty Preferences: sephora.com/profile/beautypreferences
-Beauty Insider Summary: sephora.com/beautyinsider
-Account Settings: sephora.com/profile/myaccount
Will old Forum content redirect somewhere else on sephora.com?
Starting in August, previous Forum threads will be redirected to relevant shopping pages on sephora.com or, in some cases, the Gallery.

I am devastated at the news.
I have definitely been less active lately with life and work and, of course, rising prices! And the login issues and issues with reviews were a bit of a deterrent there for a while.
I can't count how many purchases have been enabled by BIC! A member since 2015, back when it was Beauty Talk (BT). Over 60,000 hearts and more than 13k comments! Wow!
I attended my first in-person BIC event - the amazing launch party in Hollywood for the Beauty Insider Community Launch Party in 2017, on my way (lol, out of the way) to Toronto from Denver, via LA. That was my first time meeting so many amazing BT/BIC'ers and @TeamBIC mods, staff/beauty directors, followed by the 1st SEPHORiA 2018 (LA), missed 2019 for work (though the BIC lovelies had me there in spirit-cardboard face form!), then in-person again in 2023 (NYC) and 2024 (Atlanta). I was devastated at how the tickets came out without notice while I was on an international flight with no internet) and missed 2026.
I was thrilled to be invited as a Beauty Community Insider Online Ambassador in 2024-2025 before they sunset the program.
Anyway, some of you may be investigating/considering too, but I will be looking into some possibilities to keep a forum going on another platform and hope we can keep our connections and beauty love going elsewhere in the future. I am so grateful for all the love and work by @TeamBIC and the huge labor of love and shared connections through our love of beauty between all of us over so many years. It is definitely a very bittersweet end of an era, though, and I will dearly miss this place. ((Hugs))
This breaks my heart to hear this ๐ญ I have been on the communuty forum since it was named Beauty Talk way back when. It was my happy place where I would go when I needed a break in life or when I was depressed. I loved being able to help other users with any beauty related questions or just to talk about makeup in general. A space where I would meet some amazing friends from all over the world.
Little did I know years later, I would be chosen out of millions to represent BIC as a Community Ambassador from 2021-2024 and even put it on my resume. I even landed a job at my local Sephora store doing what I do online but in stores as a Beauty Advisor. The journey has been amazing as I work with a dream team and I can't wait to see what else Sephora has in store for me ๐ค
Thank you @TeamBIC for always being a dm away whenever I had questions. Also, to all the great MODS I got to work with whenever there was a bully or someone posting inappropriate comments. You were always speedy with trying to adjust the problem at hand.

I don't think I'll find product inspiration anywhere like what like I did here on BIC. Hearing what you all love, how you use it and have real talk, there's going to be a huge hole once this forum closes it's doors. Reviews just don't do it for me, chating with you guys was the best and most real.
Having real time conversations about anything and everything under the sun. There's really no place like BIC out there, I don't know why they would get rid of this gem of the Internet. ๐
