End of September already, BIC! 🤯🍂 Beauty-wise, this has been a month of hydration for me, and that is definitely reflected in my monthly faves. To be honest, a few of the products I’m shouting out here have actually been at the top of my list for the past couple of months, but they’ve become so integrated into my regular routine that I almost forgot about them (considering the number of times I wash my hands throughout the day, is it safe to say that the Ouai soap is my most-used beauty product?). Hydration heavy-hitters aside, I wish I could transmit scent through the BIC and out from your screen for you to catch a whiff of the floral magic that is my new go-to Nest perfume… 😌
Here’s a list of the products I kept coming back to this month:
What about you, BIC? Hit the “Reply” button and let us know what skincare, hair, makeup, fragrance, and/or wellness products you were reaching for the most in September. Remember to use the “#” symbol to make it easy for fellow BICers to shop your lists! 😊
OoooOoh, thanks for the rec @Loretta55! You had me at "one and done" 🤓 I'm in the wavy/curly crew with you so I'll have to check this out.
@Loretta55 Yay for finding a new love!
Wow that's a really good find @Loretta55 , all in one hair care is pretty hard to come by
I really trust anything recommended by Manes by Mell @CynthieLu .
Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Fat Water Niacinamide Pore-Refining Toner Serum with Barbados Cherry My fav!💜
LYS Beauty Triple Fix Brightening Concealer . Love how easy it is to apply to get full-coverage (not the actual packaging), lightweight it is, and the skin-like finish with a subtle glow (like a low-key radiant). 🌟😍
@Nahnom Oooo I also need to switch up my concealer for winter! This concealer sounds great!
Lol @Nahnom I defintley need to do a summer/winter concealer purchase. I still have summer skin and my coverage is still in snowy times 🤣
Great finds! I've very curious to try the Fenty line but I haven't yet, have you tried anything else?
My favorites this month are
Gucci Luminous Matte Beauty Blush 05 Rosy Beige
Gucci Long Lasting Satin Lipstick 202 Moira Sienna
Viseart Cashmere eyeshadow palette
DS & Durga Boston Ivy (apparently discontinued; sample gifted to me by @Samtian )
@Titian06 That Gucci blush is so pretty 😍
I have totally been lusting after those gucci blushes @Titian06 !
Sigh, @Titian06. Those cheeks and satins are gorgeous, aren’t they? That Viseart is a beautiful palette 💗
September favorites ❤️
The new Olaplex No. 4C Bond Maintenance™ Deep Clean Clarifying Shampoo 8.5 oz / 250 mL has replaced Bumble and Bumble as my favorite clarifying shampoo. I like the Necessaire shampoo but I am absolutely loving the conditioner. The SEPHORA COLLECTION Hydrating Leave In Conditioner 4.73 oz / 140 mL works great and is very affordable. The Traders Joes facial and body sunscreens are so good! I was in the sun all Labor Day weekend and didn’t get a sunburn.
I don't think I've ever regularly used a clarifying shampoo @faeriegirl - glad the Olaplex one is working for you! Out of curiosity, what does your hair wash schedule look like? I'm averaging about 2-3 washes a week, and wonder if I can get closer to 1-2 with something like this. 😮
@GeorginaBT I use the clarifying shampoo on Sunday and then I usually only wash 2 to 3 times a week. My hair is fine and my scalp is oily. It definitely helps me go a little bit longer.
Ah alternating shampoos! Got it @faeriegirl - I'm taking notes. 😉 Thank you!
@faeriegirl Ooooo thanks for the update on the SC leave in! I need to try it! I did not know Nevessaire made shampoo and conditioner! I need to look into it!!
Nécessaire has a pretty good record, @faeriegirl - it seems like there are more hits than misses! I am a fan of that conditioner, too. I think I have two backups at the moment 😂
@eshoe I have been very happy with the brand. I think the only misses for me are the sunscreen and body bar.
@faeriegirl I am with you on the sunscreen, it was a little too greasy-feeling for me. I have not tried the soap bar yet.
