Monthly Favorites: June 2023

It’s finally summer, BIC! But here in San Francisco, it hardly feels like it. 🌦 What’s my favorite way to counteract this June gloom, you might ask? Aside from splurging at Sephora (oops), this month I’ve enjoyed streamlining my hair routine with a fancy new tool, channeling summer vibes with a glowy SPF, gluing my unruly eyebrows down until I’ve reached lamination-worthy perfection, and brightening my complexion. I refuse to let my skin be as dull as this Bay Area weather. And with a little help from my new June faves, things are starting to look up… as far as my beauty routine is concerned, at least! 🌞

My June faves -

 Vanilla Woods fragrance by The 7 Virtues. Smells like a warm fall evening sipping something sugary and sweet! 

 Summer Fridays lip balm in Pink Sugar. I can't explain, it's just that good.

 Supergoop sunscreen. The clear one is the best and goes on like a primer.

 Caudalie Vinoperfect Serum. Ive been using for a month and my skin feels smoother and more even skin tone. 

 Tower28 Mascara is my ride or die girl.

 Saie super glowy gel in Starglow.

@VikkiYoung Love these faves! I was trying to get my hands on the pink sugar lip balm but it was sold out for so long! Maybe I'll revisit it now that it's back in stock.... but I REALLY don't need more lip products at the moment, lol.

My June favorites:

HAUS LABS BY LADY GAGA PhD Hybrid Hydrating Tinted Lip Oil Neutral  this formula is growing on me, I do still enjoy Ami Colé Lip Treatment Oil Reflection better, but the more I wear the Haus labs oil, I'm finding it does moisturize my lips pretty good, I'm also reaching for LAWLESS Mini Forget The Filler Lip Plumper Line Smoothing Gloss Rosy Outlook throughout the day

Lilac candle from Trader joes is so beautifully scented and the throw is awesome for this size @SportyGirly125 thank you again!!

Diptique cherry blossom candle is everything @itsfi described, it's such a luxe scent, the most gorgeous floral, I'm pretty sure I picked up a rose scent the other day, its like it transforms scents and I love it

June Favourites

L'Oreal Telescopic Mascara - This mascara defines and seperates my lashes. It does not transfer on my oily eyelids. This is a great drugstore brand mascara for me.

ILIA True Skin Serum Concealer with Vitamin C Lotus SC2.5 - In the summer if I am just hanging out I like to wear concealer to brighten my face instead of wearing a full face of foundation. This shade is a tad to warm for me but I can fix it with some blue pigment. Next time I will buy a different shade because I like the formula. It doesn't crease on me.

Supergoop! Glowscreen SPF 40 Face Sunscreen with Hyaluronic Acid + Niacinamide - I layer this over another SPF on my no makeup makeup days

Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Positive Light Liquid Luminizer Highlight Outshine  - Another new product that I have fallen for. A little goes a long way. It is so pretty and blends well. Gives a nice summer glow ✨️

Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Gloss Bomb Cream Color Drip Lip Cream Fruit Snackz - This shade is so versatile. I find the pigment is quite long lasting. It makes my lips look hydrated as well. I like to apply and then blot my lips for an 'everyday look'. For a more bold look I just wear it as is.

Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder Flushed - Matte Color for Cheek & Lip Golden Hour - I like how long lasting this product is. I definitely want to pick up some more shades. I received a sample of all of the shades and I am working my way through them to see which ones I like best.

OLEHENRIKSEN Banana Bright+ Vitamin CC Eye Sticks for Dark Circles Pumpkin in apricot - I use this under my concealer to try to brighten under my eye and give a base for the concealer. I do want to get the shade banana 🍌
