June marks that we’ve already made it to the halfway point of the year, woohoo! Can you believe it, BIC? The time has come again to take a look back and reflect upon all the things that brought us joy this month – in other words, it’s time to share our June monthly favorites! 🌻✨
Here are the items that brought me a little extra sparkle to my days in June:
Also, I’m giving a special shout out to the The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner 8 oz/ 240 mL – I’ve been using this a lot as a power combo for my face and body! It helps me with the bumpier areas on my skin and I love adding it as a bit of #selfcare in my post-shower routine.
What sparked joy for you this June? ✨ Whether they’re skincare, hair, makeup, fragrance, and/or wellness goodies (new faves or old loves), the Beauty Insider Community wants to know what you’ve been loving this month. Reply below and use the ‘#’ sign to tag those fave products!
First of all welcome to our crazy world @Anna2BT 🌹❤️🦋 I’m glad you’re here with us 👏 I maybe too late to post this but if you’re into shimmering body oils, grab this one. It’s currently sold out every where. I’m hoping to find a back up. It’s super fun 🤩 product for a beach/lake trip or if you want extra glam. 😘
@blackkitty2014 I like the way you think 😉 I def need to start incorporating more glam into my beach and lake days! ✨
So fun @blackkitty2014 ! Ruh roh looks like you’re gonna need a backup! 😂😳
I already did @Sunnysmom 😂🤣 Try to refrain myself not hoarding 4 bottles liked somebody 🤪😜
😂 @blackkitty2014 , what’s our fav phrase for this kind of stuff, “ 1 is good, 2 is better, 3 is best”… don’t know what 4 is! 😆
Love it @tsavorite , yes yes! I’m using that! 🥰
I'm going to pretend I didn't see this, because....it makes sense to me and will stick in my brain! Now, where to put 4 of everything??? @Sunnysmom
That is the sad truth @Ispend2much6 @blackkitty2014 and also great to hold us back from the brink of insanity! 🤪
@Ispend2much6 @Sunnysmom 😂🤣 I died of laughing
The brain is a powerful weapon, I mean instrument, @blackkitty2014 !
Love your list @Anna2BT ! Biossance products are staples for me.
I received my hair restock order today, and figured I might as well share it here because if it's a restock, it contains favorites.
Kiehl's Since 1851 Olive Fruit Oil Deeply Repairative Hair Pak 8.4 oz/ 250 mL
Oribe Superfine Hair Spray 9 oz/ 300mL
COLOR WOW Dream Coat Supernatural Spray Anti-Frizz Treatment
Some additional favorites:
COLOR WOW Root Coverup PowderDark Brown
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filtershade 1
Floral Street Sunflower Pop Eau De Parfum Travel Spray 0.34 oz/ 10 mL
PAT McGRATH LABS SatinAllure™ Lipstick Veiled Rose
Chanel Le Stylo eyeliner in 46 Vert Emeraude
EM Cosmetics new bronzer in the lightest shade can't remember it.
Oh now I need that Chanel liner @Ispend2much6 thank you😄
@eshoe Ulta carries it, unless it's out of stock. 🙂
It is already in my cart, @Ispend2much6, along with Cassis 😄
@Ispend2much6 I love your faves too! Your hair favorites have definitely caught my eye 👀 I always keep my hair colored so I need to baby it more as time goes on haha.
How are the Kiehl's Since 1851 Olive Fruit Oil Deeply Repairative Hair Pak 8.4 oz/ 250 mL and COLOR WOW Dream Coat Supernatural Spray Anti-Frizz Treatment working for your hair? Do you use them often?
@Anna2BT I know what you mean. I started getting highlights a few months ago, and doubled up this month, and the texture of that hair is definitely different from the basic colored hair.
I did find that using a hair oil on my ends works for me, also putting some on my blonde strands. It's too heavy for some, but Verb Moringa + Jojoba Hair Treatment Oil 1 oz/ 30 mL really works for me. It takes time to soak in after application.
I use the Kiehls mask as my every day conditioner. Conditioners are too light for me. I usually would have to add a leave-in conditioner on top of a regular conditioner. Sometimes that works, if my hair gets weighed down after too many uses of the mask, but then I usually use Devacurl's clarifying shampoo.
I also use OUAI Curl Cream Fragrance Free 8 oz/ 236 mL , but it can be a little much after the mask. It all depends upon what my hair is doing.
The COLOR WOW Dream Coat Supernatural Spray Anti-Frizz Treatment I use every other week, since I only wash my hair 2-3 times a week. It has helped my curls re-form after washing, and probably adds shine too.
I'm sorry this is so detailed, but my hair is fussy (makes sense; it belongs to me. 😂)
@lmaster I second the COLOR WOW Dream Coat Anti-Frizz Treatment for Curly Hair 6.7 oz/ 200 mL. @Ispend2much6 recommended is awhile back and I use it whenever I wash my hair to prep for styling (1-2x per week). I have omitted it a few times and I do notice a difference; my hair is slightly frizzier and not as soft.
@Ispend2much6 I use that wow root cover up too 😅
@lmaster It has saved me from so much embarrassment. I lost a ton of hair the past two years, especially in the front, my hairline. How interesting as soon as I stopped using at home hair color, the shedding stopped and it's growing back. I am getting a layer of bangs back (albeit slowly.)
