Monthly Favorites: July 2022 Edition!

Happy July, Beauty Insider Community friends, and special shout out to my fellow Cancers 🦀 (if you’re into zodiac signs 😊). This month, my beauty theme has been glowy and protected! I have been naturally gravitating more towards sunscreens since getting so many awesome SPF-packed product recommendations in The SPF/Sunscreen Thread: What are your faves this season? 😎☀️ thread and found myself with four new sunscreens by the second week of July. 😂

To avoid listing a bunch of sunscreens, here is my favorite one out of the bunch along with my other monthly faves!

I have found a new power duo in the Milk Hydro Grip Primer and Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Setting Spray. I paired the two together for the first time and my makeup was able to withstand hot and humid conditions all the way into the evening!

I have so many good things to say about these products, but to avoid getting too lengthy of a post feel free to ask me in the comments. 😉

@Ispend2much6 I'm going to use the liquid foundations I have,,, but I'm probably going to stick with powder foundation from this point!! With my oily skin,,, it's a game changer

I only had a handful of favorites:

*Edit: I totally forgot to add my MAKEUP BY MARIO SoftSculpt Transforming Skin Enhancer®!  *Smacks forehead*

-The Key Lime Cake Pop candle from Goose Creek smells amazing and throws an 8/10.  It's so perfect for Summer!

-I was trying to use my Sol de Janeiro Mini Brazilian Bum Bum Visibly Firming Refillable Body Cream with Caffeine-Rich Guara... sparingly because it's also a monthly favorite but thanks to the generosity of @TeamBIC I now have a larger tub to replace my mini when it's gone!

-The Tatcha The Kissu Lip Mask has been saving my lips lately because they've been sooo dry.  Spoiler: I just bought two more to have on backup.  Yeah, it's that good.

-I bought the Unite 7-Second Detangling spray on an Amazon Prime Day deal and it's so good!  My hair brushes through so easily (I'm losing less hair since I'm not breaking as much now), it doesn't ever make my hair feel heavy or greasy, and it smells amazing.  This was a mini size but I'll absolutely repurchase the full size when this is out and I actually just ordered the matching shampoo and conditioner from the line today to try them out.

@faeriegirl I've had the Unite shampoo and conditioner for a couple of days and I have to say that I'm really disappointed.  The shampoo doesn't really feel like it gets my hair clean and it also doesn't feel at all hydrating.  I'm honestly not sure WHAT it's doing but it's not doing my hair any favors and the conditioner is very "meh" as well.  Honestly, I'm returning them both.

Thank you for letting me know @CookieGirl1. It is so hard finding a good shampoo/ conditioner. I had such high hopes for JVN and Bondiboost and they were ok but not great. I am loving Oribe gold lust but it is so expensive😬

@CookieGirl1  You aren't kidding about the Tatcha Kissu- it's the very best I've ever tried!  Fresh is a close second.

@CookieGirl1 That candle looks fantastic for summertime, I just posted on the empties thread how I have to make it a point to burn more candles during summertime and that one seems quite tempting.

@QueenMarceline It's seriously so good!  I light it in my bedroom and within about a half hour I can smell it all the way out into my living room and kitchen.

I totally forgot to include the Chloé Chloé Naturelle Eau de Parfum 1.7 oz/ 50 mL Eau de Parfum Spray Thanks BIC! At first I wasn't too fond, but I was still trying to get my smell back from covid. Sprayed it again earlier this month and I've worn it quite a few times! I enjoy it alot.
