Happy late summer, fellow BIC-ers! Team BIC was working remotely for the first half of the month (preparing to move into our new Sephora HQ!) so I bounced around a bit and enjoyed a change of scenery away from my typical desk setup. ✈ Exploring new places is fun, but there’s something so comforting and satisfying about coming home and getting to settle back into my routine again. No shade to all our fave minis (we had so much fun during ourMajor Minis Challenge!), but there’s nothing quite like having access to all my full-size beauty must-haves from my home stash after a few days of being limited to the pared-down regimen I’ve managed to fit into my carry-on!

@idanyd that Sephora powder sounds interesting - I wonder how similar it performs to Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Longwear Setting Powder...

@idanyd Yay, so glad you've been loving the Haus Labs lip oil. I have yet to try it but have heard great things. I'm also so curious about the SC powder foundation. FOR YEARS I was strictly powder foundation only, and now that I've switched to liquid, I can't imagine switching back... but I'm tempted!

@AlexBT I've heard SO many people talk about how much they like the Candy Lip Glazes!  They look so pretty.

@CookieGirl1 I got Sweet pink in the lip glaze from the Sephora masterclass. It just felt like a regular lip balm. Maybe I have to try a Colored one.

@SportyGirly125 @CookieGirl1 I actually prefer the sheer pink one to the nude! It has more of that "candy" glossy sheen to it, BUT you really have to layer it! The application instructions say to use 6 clicks for one application, which is wayyy too much for lips, lol, but once you realize how much you're meant to apply, you really start to see that glossiness in action. It's kind of hard to tell in the pic but I tried to show the shine here -

@SportyGirly125 omg you're too kind.. thank you! they are a daily struggle, lol. I used to have them microbladed so now I'm getting used to painstakingly drawing them back in one hair at a time. I find that "laminating" them with the Patrick Ta gel or Refy sculpt helps me fake the look more easily!

My new obsession is underpainting with Tower 28 Beauty Sculptino® Soft Matte Cream Contour + Bronzer Hammer. The Cheek Challenge Summer 2023: Collabs with Makeup Challenge of the Week inspired me to try it out.

@eshoe It’s a shade of pink. The top left on the pink half of this palette. It’s bit more cool-toned than the rest of my makeup, so I guess it almost reads as a lavender.

I'm so jealous @JoSometimes ! I wanted to like the Tower 28 Beauty Bronzino Illuminating Cream Bronzer but im very fair and their light shade was so orange 🥲
