Hey everyone!  I believe this is the first Cheek Challenge (or at least one in awhile) and I am so happy that @sister13 of the Makeup Challenge of the Week 2021/2022/2023 agreed to this!

I tried underpainting yesterday. I used a cream contour first (NYX Wonderstick) and The Ordinary serum foundation on top. The contour shade is a pretty stark contrast against my own skin but it was really hard to tell that it was even there once I had my foundation on top. The foundation is supposed to be medium coverage but I find that it’s almost full coverage when I use it, so that could be it too. I do like the fact that I can’t even tell I tried to contour. I guess that’s the point? I gotta try this again with a more sheer foundation next time and see.

I also tried Estate’s Spacebound Highlighter in the shade Eclipse, which I got from my TopBox subscription  It’s a golden-bronze shade to try and tie in this week’s Sunshine Sensation challenge. Most of the photos I kept from yesterday are outdoor shots, so it’s hard to tell I’m wearing it at all.

Thank you @Mellmars1185! I picked up foundation in my summer shade and a new cream contour. I’m excited to try them out this week and I’ll post a photo when I do! 😊
