Happy late summer, fellow BIC-ers! Team BIC was working remotely for the first half of the month (preparing to move into our new Sephora HQ!) so I bounced around a bit and enjoyed a change of scenery away from my typical desk setup. ✈ Exploring new places is fun, but there’s something so comforting and satisfying about coming home and getting to settle back into my routine again. No shade to all our fave minis (we had so much fun during ourMajor Minis Challenge!), but there’s nothing quite like having access to all my full-size beauty must-haves from my home stash after a few days of being limited to the pared-down regimen I’ve managed to fit into my carry-on!

It sounds like the Rhode glaze serum and Eadem have really been coming through for you! That nest fragrance sounds amazing I may need to pick it up! I hope your lashes come back to a beautiful fluffy state!!!

Awww, you're too kind @ather! Thank you for always being so good and gracious with your words. Much appreciated - the words & you! Photography, and specifically, photos I've taken for / posted on BIC have provided a wonderful opportunity to hit pause on the demands of the day, and reset. I've learned a lot of techniques from @Samtian and the photography thread that I've been incorporating every now and again; it's been fun and relaxing when I'm able to put together some layouts.

You must have great taste 😉"  Well, you know what they say, ather - birds of a feather ... 💗 I've really been enjoying the Rhode glaze; it's probably my 2nd favorite product from her line so far, the 1st being her lip treatment. We'll see a little bit of a cool down for a week or so (and then our late summer will be in full force for a bit), and I am thinking it might be a good time to put the glazing milk for a longer test.

The Summer Fridays consistency will come in handy during the warmer spells; I may try pairing it with Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi™ Bronzing Drops with Peptides. I usually apply 2 layers of SPF as part of my morning skincare routine, so that second layer might be a good one to mix with the D-Bronzi.

Huh, me?! No, you're amazing @Samtian. Putting that challenge thread together was such a fabulous idea. I would not have learned about all those techniques we worked on without it, and I loved being inspired by you and others who posted photos. 😊

@itsfi Lovely faves!!! I love the idea of gua sha but consistency is really what I lack, lol. This also applies to ice rolling, dry brushing, applying lotion.... one day I'll stick to it!

@AlexBT  My mentality is that if you remember to do it even 25% of the time it’s better than 0% so you’re still ahead it you do it occasionally.  😉

@AlexBT  Omg. I thought I was the only one who struggled with everything! Do you end up doing awesome for a month and fizzle out or is that just me? @itsfi

I hear ya @AlexBT! I consider it a win if I can  reach for my gua sha twice per week. 😃 Reading your post, I thought “oh, I need to do that, and THAT and …” Hahaha! We will get to consistency one day!!!

@itsfi  Nah our schedules are never that clear set.  Aim for wherever you remember and have time and that’s still better than never.

So true @heartsmyface; so true! 👊🏼 Schedules are definitely fluid, even more so as the years pass by. It’s gotten more challenging to keep up with certain routines. I like this hearts method and am going to make more of an effort to keep it as a mind set.

Yves Saint Laurent Lash Clash Extreme Volume Mascara Electric Blue this mascara is SO fun and BRIGHT. it's fun, fun, especially for someone who prefers natural looks

TOM FORD Liquid Lipstick Luxe Matte for Long-Wear Lark absolutely obsessed with. Long lasting, fades gracefully, and leaves a beautiful rosy stain 💕

It really IS fun @ather ! I'm glad I got color in the Yves Saint Laurent Lash Clash Extreme Volume Mascara Electric Blue because my mascara ALWAYS smudges underneath and I was worried ill look like I had bruises but it has not smeared once. So impressed!
