Hey @BrigitteE for my highlighted/bleached girls, I like to use our Resistance line for Damaged Hair. What's great about it is that it helps strengthen your hair and is light at the same time. My suggestion for detangling is using Kérastase Resistance Heat Protectant Leave-In Styling Cream for Damaged Hair 5.1 oz/ 150 mL on freshly cleansed hair. The key is to apply a coin size amount to your mid lengths to ends, as if you were going to put your hair in a low pony and apply only to the hair below the rubber band. I in general have decent hair, but lately it's been more fragile (bleaching and dying certainly the culprit), and I am having some real fly-away issues at the top. Any recommendations to ultimately repair and promote better regrowth? As well, anything to help smooth and shine-up my current hair?

First off, a great tip for taming pesky fly aways is to take a hairspray like our Kérastase Laque Couture Medium Hold Hair Spray 8.8 oz/ 249 g and spray it on to a clean toothbrush and starting at the root, brush it through the hair. (Try it, it works!) Now to promote better regrowth, our new Extentoniste line is great as it strengthens your hair from roots to ends, giving you that fresh haircut feeling! I have long relaxed hair. but my hair is really thin and gets very frizzy. I've been using Mizani products which help a little but would really like stronger, more silky hair. I only use heat on my hair once a week to blow dryly unless I have a special event then I flat iron my hair.

Hi - I am so excited Kérastase is now available! I am African-American, and have naturally coarse, coiled hair that I chemically straighten. I occasionally use a blow dryer, and curling iron/ flat iron. My hair can get very dry with split ends/ breakage - can you suggest a hair care system for my type of hair ( shampoo, mask, thermal protection, etc.)? Thanks!

Hey @preppylux50plus, we're excited too! For your hair, I would suggest a 2 phase journey addressing the breakage first with our Therapiste line. Start with KéRASTASE - Resistance Pre-Shampoo Conditioner, then Kérastase Resistance Strengthening Shampoo for Extremely Damaged Hair 8.5 oz/ 250 mL and finish with Kérastase Resistance Strengthening Hair Mask for Extremely Damaged Hair 6.8 oz/ 200 mL. For blow drying, prime with Kérastase Resistance Hair Serum for Extremely Damaged Hair 1 oz/ 30 mL which is great to close the hair cuticle and help with split ends. Once your hair is strong again, then I'd suggest moving on to our Nutritive range for severely dry hair. - Carly

I am very blessed to have super straight and easy to manage hair. The downside is not being able to style and maintain curly/wavy hair for a long period of time.

To prep my hair I use shampoo and conditioner that are volumizing (Drybar Southern Belle) and then add a volumizing mousse or spray when its damp. Once it's dry I'll use curlers and leave them on for 10-15 min. Ill take out the curlers and then spray my hair with a hair spray and texturizing spray (I really like IGK's products)

My curls are usually in tact for roughly 1-2 hours. Ive tried so many styling products (mousse, hair spray, gels, you name it) from expensive high end stuff to drug store brands and nothing helps maintain the curls I would love to have.  Do you have any suggestions on how to maintain curly hair for a longer period of time?

@trishavt, gorgeous hair! That's a question I get a lot in the salon and I have found the perfect combo. For you, I'd start with 4-5 sprays of Kérastase Aura Botanica Beach Wave Texture Spray 5.1 oz/ 150 mL at a distance and then layer on Kérastase Materialiste Thickening Spray Gel 6.59 oz/ 195 mL. The key is to spray 2-3 spritzes in the palm of your hand, rub your hands together and apply from roots to ends on wet hair. Then style as usual and you're good to go!

I get my hair colored professionally at a salon every 5-6 weeks. Within 3 weeks of coloring, my greys are already showing and the color has faded. I used Biolage color last shampoo and conditioner. I wash my hair just twice a week. Would the mask you sell for color treated hair help maintain my color or what do you recommend? So frustrating to spend so much money to have my hair colored only to have it looking like I need another salon visit in just 3 weeks

Hi! I have naturally black fine straight hair. I dyed my hair about a year ago, had some balayage and they bleached out from the middle toends. I was told they used olaplex during the procedure. My hair is very prone to split ends and tends to be really dry, although my scalp gets oily very fast. I live in a very humid country, so sometimes it will be a bit frizzy. Before I dyed it, I still had a lot of split ends and a lot of tangling. I have tried almost every single treatment/shampoo/conditioner/product out there but nothing seems to moisturize and prevent dry ends and split ends. I do not use heat on regular basis just on special occasions. What do you recommend? Thank you so much for your help!

@Giovanna28, I'd recommend a 2-step regimen for your hair journey. First start with KéRASTASE - Resistance Pre-Shampoo Conditioner to pre-treat the hair, then follow with Kérastase Resistance Strengthening Shampoo for Extremely Damaged Hair 8.5 oz/ 250 mL. I'd recommend this for a couple of months once your hair is strengthened and then transition into our Discipline line to fight the humidity. - Carly

My hair is thin, breakage and split ends and pin straight I cannot get it to hold a curl. After having my son in Jan 2017 I lost a lot of hair with post partum hair loss. My hair has become thin and doesn't seem to grow. I wash it every 3 days, finger comb and air dry yet I still have lots of breakage. HELP I'm at a terrible spot with my hair since having a baby and it really bums me out!

I have baby fine, naturally curly hair. It is coloured without bleach, and extremely dry. My hair is thinning from meds I take, and it grows unevenly and I get breakage in the back. My biggest concern is that my hair is so ridiculously dry and the breakage. I oddly enough don't have a problem achieving volume when blow-drying my hair. I'm probably the only person with thin, fine, curly hair that loves product in their hair. I use a leave in conditioner, a curl cream, a styling spray, and then hair spray to get this result. I always blow-dry with a diffuser. This is my hair on a good day, and yes, my head shot 🙈

To me it sounds like you want to maintain healthy hair growth so I'd recommend Kérastase Specifique Shampoo for Thinning Hair 8.5 oz/ 250 mL. For your conditioner, I'd suggest KéRASTASE - Specifique Scalp Renewing Mask and as an added treatment, try our Kérastase Initialiste Strengthening & Volumizing Advanced Scalp & Hair Serum 2.2 oz/ 60 mL. And lastly, for your curls (yay love that you're a product girl), start with our KéRASTASE - Aura Botanica Blow-Dry Milk and finish with Kérastase Aura Botanica Beach Wave Texture Spray 5.1 oz/ 150 mL. I have medium thick straight hair that frizzes a little bit in the Florida heat. It is overly processed with color and for the first time, I am having split ends, breakage, and my hair feels like straw now. any suggestions to get it back to life before I redo my rainbow colors? I like to straighten my hair every 2-3 days, rarely blow dry, and don’t like much product in my hair, if any.
