Hi Jen! I've been trying to grow my hair out for years and it always seems to just grow to a certain length. I've trimmed it and cut my hair but it doesn't seem to help. What can I do to help my hair grow long? Also I have thick hair and it becomes frizzy every easily. What are some good products I can use to help me with that?
Hi! We have something exciting coming up for hair growth but I can't tell you what yet! 😉 Getting your hair trimmed every 3 months or so to trim off your dead ends will help. Hair grows from within, so make sure you're eating healthy and living a healthy lifestyle. If nothing seems to help, maybe check with your doctor to see if there is anything they can help with.
I recommend using my OUAI hair masque once every two weeks to help fight frizz. Apply it to towel dried hair and leave it on for 15-20 min before rinsing. Your hair will be soft and silky before you know it!
I used to have thick and long hair, and I'm noticing it thinning out. I'm 25. is this common? will it ever be full again?
Hair goes through changes around every 7 years so don't worry! Use Volumizing shampoo to get that volume and fullness and stay tuned for some cool stuff coming out for hair thinning!
Hey Jen, what is your opinion on samples? Ive been trying to test one of your products and would love to receive a sample. Thank you! 🙂
Go to Sephora and try out all the products they're super knowledgeable about them and will apply according to your hair type!
Thanks Jen! Will go today. Xoxo
Hi Jen!! LOVE you on SnapChat 🙂 ... Question -- your go-to products for the perfect blow out... I'm talking volume, shoulder-length hair, mostly fine hair ... thanks!!!
Hey! Thanks for following! Whenever I want to get the most amount of volume I apply OUAI mousse at the roots and the Wave Spray at the ends on damp hair. Use a Sephora Collection large round brush to get a full, voluminous look. After it is dry use the OUAI texturizing hairspray throughout the hair for texture! (P.S.- It's avail at Sephora Hot Now!)
You're the best .. thanks for the reply..heading to Sephora this weekend and will definitely pick some up along with my Drunk Elephant skincare 🙂 see you on Snap!
Hey Jen!
So excited for you to be here!!
I am loving the wave spray!
Can I apply this to my root for more body or should I keep it at the ends?
Also, what is the best way to get a wave closer to my scalp. I have straight hair and the wave spray is working great for mid shaft to my ends, just having problems getting and keeping the waves closer to my scalp.
THANK YOU!!!!
Crystal
Thanks babe! Yes the Wave Spray is great from root to ends. Use a smaller curling iron or flat iron to add a bend close to the scalp. GHD makes one of my fave flat irons.
Going to check that out now and home tonight to practice with my wave spray!!
Thank you.
Hi Jen. I see on your Snaps that you almost always use a blow dryer. I don't have one (by choice) so what tips do you have for those of us that let our hair dry naturally? Thanks!
I'm obsessed with The Clip Trick! You basically apply our Wave Spray and Soft Mousse to damp hair, then push the hair up and place a duckbill clip in it. You then push the hair underneath it up and put another clip in it until you've done it down the length of the hair around the entire head. Let the hair air dry, then remove the clips and you've got a perfect natural looking beach wave.
Here is a link to our how-to, just let your hair air dry instead of blow drying!
Thank you!!
Hi Jen! I just got the OUAI wave spray in my Sephora play box and I'm wondering, whats the best way to use the product if you already have curly hair?
Thanks so much - Becca
Hey there, spray it all over your hair and scrunch it to your liking, then try not to touch it. You can also use the Wave Spray to help enhance your curls day two - just spray it on your dry hair and it will also help tame the frizz!
Yayy hey Jen! I feel like I'm talking to a mega celeb here, how fun!
I bought your wave spray but have NO idea how to make it work for me! I swear any way I try to use it, it just doesn't do much for me. I have fine hair with a natural wave in it, it's medium-long, and it's colored blonde. Can you maybe provide some tips for me? Thanks!
Hey! A lot of people don't tend to spray enough. You will need to completely cover all of your strands with it spraying 6-12" from your scalp! Air dry or diffuse your hair to really enhance your natural wave. After it is dry, run a dime size amount of OUAI finishing creme throughout your hair to help reduce frizz and add shine.
Great, thanks for the tip! Have a great day!
