Vitamin C: The search for the perfect serum!

On the hunt for the most effective, brightening, non-sticky formula. “Clean” ingredients are preferred. I’ve tried: Korres brightening serum (love it) Sunday Riley flash CEO: (like it) Summer fridays CC Me: (don’t like it) Any recommendations?

@VictoriaBlack I actually like Summer Fridays CC Me Vitamin C + Niacinamide Serum 1.0 oz/ 30 mL haha.  But I also really like Tatcha Violet-C Brightening Serum 20% Vitamin C + 10% AHA 1 oz/ 30 mL .  Tatcha gave me better results.  I think it may be because it also contains AHA

I’ve been on the hunt for this too. I like the Drunk Elephant, it does better mixed with other things because it’s too sticky on its own. Definitely like the Sunday Riley better. But, I ordered something different this time, the 100% L-Ascorbic Acid Powder by The Ordinary. I’ve read so many articles talking it up & it arrives tomorrow so I’m excited to try it. For under $6 and it’s more shelf stable, gets mixed into products you already use, apparently very effective, boom I’m sold so far.

Hi @VictoriaBlack - I really like the Sunday Riley product too. My other favorite brands for skincare are Biossance, Skinceuticals, Perricone MD, and Dermalogica. Per your ask for serums containing vitamin c, here are my recommendations -

BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil

PERRICONE MD - Vitamin C Ester Brightening Serum

Dermalogica BioLumin-C Vitamin C Serum 1 oz/ 30 mL

SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic (its a bit pricey, but it is an amazing product)

Also, while I haven't yet tried the EDIBLE BEAUTY products, their No. 3 Exotic Goddess Ageless Serum has received great reviews.

@carlym99  agree with SkinCeuticals!  It legit saved my skin after I had a horrible breakout and PIH.  The scars were almost as bad as the acne itself, but they faded with the CE Ferulic!
