Helllooo BIC! In celebration for the first day of summer (June 21^st) it’s time we put the spotlight on our friend SPF! When the days get a little bit longer and brighter, I always make sure to give my SPF-packed products a little extra love because I know they’ll be working overtime to protect my skin. 💪 Anyone else here feel the same way?

I don’t know about you, but I know my SPF collection needs a 2022 update. SO, what are your favorite products containing SPF? Whether you are diving into sunscreen for the first time, or already have some tried and true favorites, let’s use this thread to talk about all things SPF and sun protection! ☀️

Can't believe summer is here @Anna2BT! When it comes to sunscreen, I've been pretty loyal to Shiseido Urban Environment Oil-Free UV Protector Broad Spectrum Face Sunscreen SPF 42 1 oz/ 30 mL   for the past few years. I grew up watching my mom use Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protector Face and Body Lotion Sunscreen SPF 60+  daily, so it's funny how I ended up following her footsteps. I do want to try LANEIGE Hydro UV Defense Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 50+ 1.6 oz/ 50 mL though - the BIC loves it. 

I'm on the hunt for some body sunscreen if anyone has one that they love!! Preferably something not too greasy... 😅

@GeorginaBT  Aw I love that you gravitated towards your moms brand.  That was one of my first ‘high end’ sunscreens (a he blue bottle) and I loved it.  It acts like a primer on too which is a bonus!

@GeorginaBT Yes I love the Laneige sunscreen.  For body I am loving the new Kopari body glow spf 50.

@GeorginaBT I love those recs! I've always wanted to try out more Shiseido products. And you read my mind about the body sunscreen - because I've been looking for that exact same thing! Traditional sunscreen that people use for the body just doesn't feel that nice on the skin 😅

I would also love to know if anyone here has any recs! ☀️

@Anna2BT  I don’t tend to listen to whether a sunscreen is for face or body thought for body I prefer if the bottle is larger for obvious reasons.  My two favourite body sunscreens are Bioré UV Aqua Rich and Skin Aqua tone up essence.  I like that they double as quick absorbing moisturizers and the skin evening effect of both on fair skin.  The SkinAqua smells lightly floral which I love as well.  🙂

@Anna2BT I love a good glow but only in certain strategic places, lol... so when it comes to my SPF, I like to go matte-matte-MATTE! I like Supergoop! Mineral Mattescreen SPF 40 Mineral Sunscreen 1.5 oz / 45 mL  but have also heard good things about Paula's Choice RESIST Super-Light Daily Wrinkle Defense Face Sunscreen SPF 30 2 oz/ 60 mL  -- anyone tried it?

@AlexBT Looks like people are lovin the Paula's Choice RESIST Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 50 2 oz/ 60 mL  ! And the strategic glow is a smart move! Too much glow can easily get into greasy territory, and we def want to avoid that 🙂

I'm diggin the many suggestions across the Supergoop! line - looks like the value set would be a good starting point for that brand ☀️

I really like #Supergoop! Glowscreen SPF 40 PA+++ 1.7 oz/ 50 mL @Anna2BT . I can even wear it as a no makeup glowy look.

@Anna2BT  My favorite for face is Paula's Choice RESIST Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 50 2 oz/ 60 mL  and my favorite for body is Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Sol Oil Sunscreen SPF 30 3 oz / 90 mL

@faeriegirl I'm sensing that the Paula's Choice RESIST Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 50 2 oz/ 60 mL  is a fan favorite 👀 I'm super intrigued by that glow oil!

Does it have a greasy feel to it at all? How often do you like to wear it? 😊

@Anna2BT It does feel oily at first but after it absorbs it doesn’t feel too greasy or sticky. I usually wear it on weekends. It has a nice shimmer to it so I don’t wear it to work.

@Anna2BT   Because @faeriegirl loves it so much, I bought Paula's Choice RESIST Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 50 2 oz/ 60 mL .  It feels nice and light while wearing it.

I also bought Tula Protect and Glow Daily Sunscreen Gel Broad Spectrum SPF 30.  It looks so, so pretty on, and gives no off-cast shadows.
