REN RANT

I purchased these products February 3. As directed, I use the cleansing balm twice a day, day cream in the morning, the beauty shot only if I plan on wearing foundation, and the first time I used the renewal mask my skin instantly started burning so I removed it right away and 2 pimples broke out the very next day. I didn’t continue to use the mask. After a week of my routine I saw results. But a couple weeks later I started to break out again. I reached out in this group for advice and I was recommended to continue my routine WITHOUT the day cream, so I did. My face became dry, red and I started peeling so I returned to the day cream. I continued to get pimples here and there and all of a sudden my pores are HUGE which has never been an issue before. My face is not clearing up AT ALL and it’s been a month. I think that’s enough time for results to appear but it’s getting worse every day.

Re: REN RANT

Oh hun, it looks like contact dermatitis (an allergy to an ingredient) or a rosacea flare up based on the location of the redness.  I would stop using all those products right away and use something gentle to wash your face for the next week or so to try to bring the inflammation down.

Its not not unusual to feel tingling with the glycolic peel but burning is an indicator that you need something a little more gentle.  @marisajac

First aid beauty has some good skincare for sensitive skin if you’re looking for a little direction.  Their daily peel pads are gentle and effective for once you’re healed and ready to attempt exfoliating again 🙂
