What ingredients are you currently using or looking to integrate into your skincare routine? (i.e. Vitamin C for brightening and SPF protection, retinol for cell turnover, etc.)? Any global trends youโ€™re particularly interested in? Weโ€™re working on some exciting products for 2018-2020, and want to know what the #1 ingredient is that you've been eager to try! Even if it's one you're already using that you canโ€™t get enough of - let us know โœŒ๐Ÿป

Iโ€™ve just started to use GHK peptides and copper. free GHK and GHK copper peptides. Really really loving the anti-aging effects. Also started using superoxide dismutase in conjunction. After a week I already see noticeable results. Someone already told me that it looks like Iโ€™ve had fillers in the under eye area. Would love to see more products with either of those. What I would like not to see is dimethicone I understand it can be smoothing but it doesnโ€™t really belong in skincare imo.

@TanyaCha Truth, (dimethi)cone ingredients are becoming a skincare dealbreaker for me, especially in face products.

Re: Peace Out Skincare: We Want Your Input on Product Ingredients! ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿฅ•๐Ÿ‹๐ŸŽ๐Ÿฅ’๐Ÿฅ‘

I started seeing faint lines around my eyes during the last couple of years, so I've been incorporating more anti-aging products, particularly retinol.

Also, my skin loves vitamin C serums!

Re: Peace Out Skincare: We Want Your Input on Product Ingredients! ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿฅ•๐Ÿ‹๐ŸŽ๐Ÿฅ’๐Ÿฅ‘

I'm in my late twenties and increasingly looking for "beginner anti-aging" products so to speak but there tends to be either heavy products for "lifting" and "firming" - which I hope to avoid for now OR harsh retinol types and that cause more issues than prevents them. I would LOVE to see more all around antioxidant serums that aren't solely focused on one ingredient (usually just vit c) or simply thick creams to "plump" the skin.

I've found a few face oils that are antioxidant loaded but rarely a decent serum I could wear daily and isn't super heavy.

If it can double as an eye cream you can just take my money now.

@njattana Oooh can I sign on for this too? Right now my go-to daily serum is a certain very popular single-ingredient product, but I'm actively looking for something like you describe and want to support more responsive/responsible brands.

Re: Peace Out Skincare: We Want Your Input on Product Ingredients! ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿฅ•๐Ÿ‹๐ŸŽ๐Ÿฅ’๐Ÿฅ‘

@fieldsofclover Right?! It seems like such an obvious thing but I've yet to find one. If you do let me know!

I currently use Sunday Riley Juno oil at night but, like I said, a serum for the day would be perfect

Re: Peace Out Skincare: We Want Your Input on Product Ingredients! ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿฅ•๐Ÿ‹๐ŸŽ๐Ÿฅ’๐Ÿฅ‘

@njattana I've been eyeing the YTTP serum... it's OOS right now but I can't quite bring myself to jump anyway. Everything else remotely like that has a bunch of fillers I'm trying to steer clear of.

@PeaceOutSquad Welcome and thank you for the opportunity to provide our input!

Here are the ingredients I am most interested in - Can't wait to see what you have in store for us!:

  • Glycolic or Lactic Acid for exfoliation/resurfacing (I've have good luck with using either of these, so far)
  • Caffeine for eye puffiness
  • Lemongrass for radiance
  • Retinol for anti-aging
  • Honey for soothing/moisturizing

Re: Peace Out Skincare: We Want Your Input on Product Ingredients! ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿฅ•๐Ÿ‹๐ŸŽ๐Ÿฅ’๐Ÿฅ‘

My skin is so dry, so I love anything with hyaluronic acid in it.

Re: Peace Out Skincare: We Want Your Input on Product Ingredients! ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿฅ•๐Ÿ‹๐ŸŽ๐Ÿฅ’๐Ÿฅ‘

I agree, @Beadshopgirl!  I also love anything with hyaluronic acid in it! โค๏ธ

Re: Peace Out Skincare: We Want Your Input on Product Ingredients! ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿฅ•๐Ÿ‹๐ŸŽ๐Ÿฅ’๐Ÿฅ‘

@PeaceOutSquad BHA is so important to keeping my skin looking it's best.  I use a 9% BHA right now and while it may be too concentrated for some, it works well for me.  But I'm greedy - I'd love to see a slightly higher concentration BHA product (with the correct pH, of course).

An affordable Vitamin C product in an airtight container would be heaven sent.

I'd also like to see effective retinol products that clearly list the concentration of retinol.

Thanks for asking for our input!  ๐Ÿ™‚

Re: Peace Out Skincare: We Want Your Input on Product Ingredients! ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿฅ•๐Ÿ‹๐ŸŽ๐Ÿฅ’๐Ÿฅ‘

@PeaceOutSquad Yes, as everyone said, something that actually work for dark spots (left by acne, sun damage, melasma) would be great. Specially Azelaic Acid and Niancinamide.

I'm extremely interested in anything with Tranaxemic Acid, the only good brand using it right now is Cle de Peau and it's terribly expensive (Edit: I went looking for the ingredients lists of "brightening" products and found one Shiseido and a couple of Chanel Le Blanc products that also use the ingredient) , but reviews are great. Foreign studies show it is as efficient as hidroquinone for treating melasma, without the side effects. There is a trial in the US now to prove it's efficiency for spots left by acne.

BTW, I love your patches. Please make one round/oval one for the cheeks. I realize I can use the pores patch, but the size/shape is not perfected for cheeks ๐Ÿ˜‰

RE: Peace Out Skincare: We Want Your Input on Product Ingredients! ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿฅ•๐Ÿ‹๐ŸŽ๐Ÿฅ’๐Ÿฅ‘

I would love to have something like your acne patches but to put in for dark spots. There are a lot of skin brightening ingredients like licorice root, vitamin C, papaya enzymes, azelaic acid. But Iโ€™d love to pop them on at night and sleep my sun spots away. Iโ€™m 36 and I know that myself and most of my friends are now realizing the damage we did as teens sitting in tanning beds and the sun for hours. Help us reverse our damages!

Re: RE: Peace Out Skincare: We Want Your Input on Product Ingredients! ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿฅ•๐Ÿ‹๐ŸŽ๐Ÿฅ’๐Ÿฅ‘

This would be wonderful! I like my night routine to really work, would definitely buy this type of product.

Re: RE: Peace Out Skincare: We Want Your Input on Product Ingredients! ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿฅ•๐Ÿ‹๐ŸŽ๐Ÿฅ’๐Ÿฅ‘

I totally agree - patches for sun spots or discoloration would be so amazing @abigailf !

Re: Peace Out Skincare: We Want Your Input on Product Ingredients! ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿฅ•๐Ÿ‹๐ŸŽ๐Ÿฅ’๐Ÿฅ‘

I have developed a strong allergic reaction to Vit C in the skincare products. Any other ingredient that gives same results as Vit C is all Iโ€™m in search of these days.

Re: Peace Out Skincare: We Want Your Input on Product Ingredients! ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿฅ•๐Ÿ‹๐ŸŽ๐Ÿฅ’๐Ÿฅ‘

Same here.

Re: Peace Out Skincare: We Want Your Input on Product Ingredients! ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿฅ•๐Ÿ‹๐ŸŽ๐Ÿฅ’๐Ÿฅ‘

@fatimamummy interesting!! We have a couple friends with the same allergy - we'll keep that in mind as we develop future products. ๐Ÿ™‚

Re: Peace Out Skincare: We Want Your Input on Product Ingredients! ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿฅ•๐Ÿ‹๐ŸŽ๐Ÿฅ’๐Ÿฅ‘

Licorice root extract is my current go-to ingredient. Iโ€™ve noticed my skin looks so much more even and clear if Iโ€™ve been using moisturizers or toners with licorice.

Also, aloe-based toners and moisturizers. And Iโ€™d love to find an untinted daily sunscreen without silicone that doesnโ€™t have that weird sunscreen smell and feel.

Re: Peace Out Skincare: We Want Your Input on Product Ingredients! ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿฅ•๐Ÿ‹๐ŸŽ๐Ÿฅ’๐Ÿฅ‘

@Susubee ooo yes love those ingredients too - great recs! Our acne dots contain aloe to help soothe the redness of your blemish. ๐Ÿ™‚

Also if you love licorice root extract definitely try the GLAMGLOW Gravity Mud Firming Treatment - it's incredible and smells so good!
