Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.
Masking Spreadsheet Info
Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).
Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.
Additional Info:
Since we aren’t allowed to post links, please PM or myself for it. You will also find this information on the original post so you don’t need a database to search for this post!
Incase you need some help to filter/search results, try this :-
Search Specific Word or Phrase —> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Search Word
Filter/Organize by Columns --> Data -> Create a Filter -> Select Options
There are 2 ways to edit a response:
1) Once you have completed a survey, click on the "Edit Your Response" link on that page. Once this page is closed, the only way to make a change is to:
2) PM @Aaliaa or @eshoe to make the change directly in the response spreadsheet
Thanks @eshoe for putting this together!
Rules
Each week there will be a new Masking Challenge posted. It will range from type of mask, brand specific week or fun challenges along the way.
Choose mask, take picture (with mask on or before), place mask on face, relax and dream of the next Sephora purchase you want to make, remove mask for healthier skin.
Have Fun!!
P.S. If you have any suggestions or challenge recommendations feel free to message me and I'll add them to the list.

Merry Masking!
Oh this sounds lovely @Shosh85!! I don’t know if I’ve seen the Josie Maran mask before, I’ll have to go look 😄 Great mask combo, your skin has to be looking great! 😄
@Shosh85 Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I love that Josie Maran mask! Sometimes I even use it overnight for a spot treatment. It's my holy grail for sure.
Thanks, @mishanyc!! I like the idea of using it as a spot treatment- I’ll be trying that out soon! 👌😊
@Shosh85 Great masks and reviews! I have seen the Josie Maran mask, but haven't tried it. The citrus smell is a plus for me and you make a cute orange (not oompa loompa)Will definitely check this one out!! 😘.
Thank you so much, @yankeefaithful!! I really want to try the other scents and colors now!! 🤗👌
Great review @Shosh85. The JM clay sounds really nice!
Thank you, @RachFace2921!! I was surprised how much I liked it! 👍
I agree, @eshoe! This mask was wonderful! 👌
@Shosh85 I’m glad that you enjoyed both masks! I also would have thought that the Josie Maran clay mask might have been kind of heavy and overly oily since my skin has a hard time absorbing argan oil but the way you describe your experience with the mask sounds encouraging! The Leaders sheet mask sounds like it’s quite hydrating making it another interesting mask!
@keana1 These were both great! My face is usually pretty dry and clay masks typically just dry me out more- but I’m guessing the added argan oil helped keep it from drying out my skin and didn’t feel heavy at all! 👍
Another mask I haven't heard of with Josie Maran. Thanks for sharing your views @Shosh85!
@Shosh85, this looks and sounds like a great masking sesh! Thanks for the reviews! ❤️
There have been a few posts about the Josie Maran argan oil masks; argan oil can be a little too heavy for me, but these masks sound like they are more lightweight.
That particular line of Leaders sheet masks are some of the thinnest that I've tried. The bamboo one sounds nice and refreshing; perfect for a warm summer day.
I agree with you, @itsfi, that Argan Oil can feel too heavy. For being a clay mask this actually felt pretty light and comfortable. I was super surprised that this didn’t extremely dry out my skin like most clay masks do!
I will definitely be buying more Leaders masks! This was super comfy with great results! 🙌
Oooh I’ve always been interested in the Josie Maran masks, thanks for reviewing. They sound like s winner and I already know I love that scent! Is Argan oil a main ingredient in the mask, @Shosh85?
@scott1201 Here is the Ingredients list for the Josie Maran mask:

Tonight, I used the Caudalie Instant Detox along my jawline and the belif Pore Cleaner Bubble Foam on my T-zone. The belif Bubble Foam starts off as a clear gel and “bubbles” into a foam that you later wash off. It smells fresh and is easy to apply, but because it goes on clear, it’s not as easy to tell how much you’ve applied or if you’ve missed an area. This is where the GlamGlow InstaMud has an advantage over the belif bubble foam – the InstaMud is purple-hued which makes it very noticeable where it has been applied and how thin or thick a layer has been applied.
After rinsing off the Caudalie and belif masks, I applied the Tosowoong Pure Propolis sheet mask and left it on for about 20 minutes. The Tosowoong (pronounced toe-so-woong) mask is a little wider and thicker than most cotton masks, but it is easy to fold the sides of the mask to get a better fit. The mask feels light and refreshing and smells deliciously of honey. After I removed the mask, my skin felt smooth and looked brighter and glowy! 😉 My skin responds well to honey (think Farmacy honey potion) and I’ve tried a few honey/propolis sheet masks; this Tosowoong propolis mask is one of the best ones I’ve tried, and it’s a great value at $2.00! 🙂
Great insight on the belif bubble cleanser vs glamglow @itsfi. The belif fit into the 'pretty decent results, but probably wont invest in full sized' category for me, for the very reason you mention - I had a tough time getting the thickness consistent, then had patchy bubbles.
Thank you @RachFace2921! The belif looked promising, but I agree with you, patchy bubbles. 😞
Thanks for the reviews, @itsfi!! This sounds like a very good combo! 👍 I would like to use more bubble masks and compare results from each brand! I just ordered the Sephora bubble mask- I’ll be interested to see how they match up! I love using the bubble masks first before masking! 👌
That sheet mask looks and sounds fantastic! Pretty much anything with honey works well for me too! Did you get that mask from a sub?
