Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.
Masking Spreadsheet Info
Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).
Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.
Additional Info:
Since we aren’t allowed to post links, please PM or myself for it. You will also find this information on the original post so you don’t need a database to search for this post!
Incase you need some help to filter/search results, try this :-
Search Specific Word or Phrase —> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Search Word
Filter/Organize by Columns --> Data -> Create a Filter -> Select Options
There are 2 ways to edit a response:
1) Once you have completed a survey, click on the "Edit Your Response" link on that page. Once this page is closed, the only way to make a change is to:
2) PM @Aaliaa or @eshoe to make the change directly in the response spreadsheet
Thanks @eshoe for putting this together!
Rules
Each week there will be a new Masking Challenge posted. It will range from type of mask, brand specific week or fun challenges along the way.
Choose mask, take picture (with mask on or before), place mask on face, relax and dream of the next Sephora purchase you want to make, remove mask for healthier skin.
Have Fun!!
P.S. If you have any suggestions or challenge recommendations feel free to message me and I'll add them to the list.

Merry Masking!
Sunday night masking:
@eshoe I’ve never heard of TYFarmer , what is the purpose of this mask? I have no idea what the ingredients are?
@keana1 it’s supposed to plump skin. Thank You Farmer states they create luxury natural, cruelty-free products (based in Korea). The mask I use is the Back to Relax Soothing Gel Mask. It has soluble collagen and Centella extract (which is supposed to improve circulation and collagen production). I have no idea how well it does either of those things, I just know it’s a mask my skin can tolerate😄 Here is the ingredient list for this mask:
The ingredients list looks great @eshoe ! Centella asiatica is one of the soothing ingredients in DrJart Tiger Grass masks and creams/serums. It supposed to calm red ,itchy and irritated skin. Thanks for the information, it’s very helpful ! It’s also good to know that the fragrance is low in the ingredients list! This would be great in winter ❄️ !
Oooh, I did not know that, @keana1! I’ve been using it rather generously I think I’m going to ease up a bit to make it last longer now😆
Your mask selections look so pretty @eshoe! I’ve wondered about the Thank You Farmer brand - thank you for your review. I will definitely look into that mask!
Thank you, @itsfi-I first heard about the Oh K masks from you, and you were so right about them:) I need to find a better deal for them though as I would love to use them more often. The Thank You Farmer seems pretty good, there is more I hope to explore of their products as well!
@eshoe, where are you getting the Oh K masks? If I pick them up, I’ll wait for cvs(dot)com to have a 30% off coupon code and then stock up. I’ll let you know the next time I see that discount.
@itsfi I bought this one on Amazon. For some reason I thought it was a multi-pack so when I received it was a little disappointed, as that’s a little steep for a mask you only use once for a few minutes! Thank you for the heads up on CVS😉 I will keep an eye out for that and if you do think of it tag me in case I don’t catch the next sale!
@eshoe, there’s a 25% off going on right now at cvs(dot)com. Code is SAVE25. There’s usually a pattern to their % off promotions, but I don’t remember whether it means the next one will be 20% or 30%.
Thank you, @itsfi! I’m looking into the Faceshop masks right now...guessing those are on the masksheet site?
@eshoe, the FaceShop masks I usually pick up in their store. You can purchase their sheet masks directly from their site - international(dot)thefaceshop(dot)com. Sometimes I am able to find a variety set of The Solution sheet masks on amazon as well. The Nourishing Mask along with the Hydrating Mask and the Moisturizing Mask are fantastic for dehydrated or dry skin; the nourishing and hydrating ones would work for oily or combo skin types as well. The Brightening one is also quite nice.
@Luvstravel it is nice, though I’m not sure I would pay full price. If you can sample it first, I would suggest that as I think there may be other gel masks that are just as good at a lower price. Just my two cents 😊 It is for sensitive skin, and I don’t know what the market is like for masks made specifically for that skin type. If it’s limited, and you like to regularly mask, then I think this would be a great option. I’m just hesitant to recommend it to someone who might have more options, as you might be disappointed. I don’t have sensitive skin, but I have to stick to hydrating gels and creams for most of my masking as my skin doesn’t tolerate exfoliating masks that well anymore.
Probably way more info than you wanted but hope it helps!
The Oozoo mask sounds wonderful. I've been trying to locate some locally and haven't had any luck.
@Lynnie32 I have purchased them from Facetory and Ulta online-the later carries a wider variety but sadly they are only online at the moment. Still with the wait!
Thank you, I just put a few in my cart to try with my next order.
@eshoe I have to say, i'm a bit jealous of your stash! So many cool finds. I'm taking notes!!
@GG84thank you! I have found so many good masks this way. A lot of mediocre and bad ones, but I like to try at least three from a brand before I decide whether or not to keep buying their masks. Facetory was a good place for me to start:)
