Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.

Masking Spreadsheet Info

Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).

Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.

Since we aren’t allowed to post links, please PM or myself for it. You will also find this information on the original post so you don’t need a database to search for this post!

 Incase you need some help to filter/search results, try this :-

Search Specific Word or Phrase —> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Search Word

Filter/Organize by Columns --> Data -> Create a Filter -> Select Options
 

There are 2 ways to edit a response: 

1) Once you have completed a survey, click on the "Edit Your Response" link on that page. Once this page is closed, the only way to make a change is to:

2) PM @Aaliaa or @eshoe to make the change directly in the response spreadsheet

Each week there will be a new Masking Challenge posted. It will range from type of mask, brand specific week or fun challenges along the way.

Choose mask, take picture (with mask on or before), place mask on face, relax and dream of the next Sephora purchase you want to make, remove mask for healthier skin.

Mask of choice today from a TopBox I got recently. Its 'airplane soap' scented so not sure if I would recommend it.

Oh no, @Aaliaa, that's a bummer!  By the name and packaging, it looks like it would be a good hydrating mask - too bad about the 'airplane soap' scent.

Used one of the Rose masks yesterday and am using the Glamglow tonight. The Fresh mask remains a favorite. I think I've tried the GG before and was indifferent to it, so we'll see if that holds true.

I have one of those GG Thirstymud Hydrating masks lying around too @quspork. I think I'm going to keep it to use next week and use a sheet mask tonight (mainly b/c I'm just too lazy to do anything else today).

Done!! It was quite therapeutic @Anonymous @fieldsofclover! I came across a multitude of Glam Glow foil samples among other things I had totally forgotten about. Also I have enough sulphate free shampoo/conditioner samples to get me through a year of traveling! I'll share some pictures tomorrow, I'm currently watching reruns of Frasier while doing my skincare routine.

Yeah, since it's not a foil I figured I could "cheat" and get one use out of it for hydrating week and one for GG week - 2 for 1!

I did this tonight! I have on the Korres Wild Rose + Vitamin C Advanced Brightening Facial along with Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Hydra-Gel Eye Patches. I don’t love the mask (it’s a deluxe sample) because it’s so heavily scented like rose, which just isn’t my favorite.

Eeee my unfilled eyebrows!!!

@starsandbucks, I found that many of the products in the Korres Wild Rose line are heavily fragranced. I had a mini of the sleeping mask and it was too much.  On a different note, how do you like the PTR eye patches?  I'm intrigued by the hyaluronic cloud line.

@Anonymous Last night was my first time using the eye patches. I got them in the mail and immediately slapped them on, haha! They’re fairly delicate. My fingernails sliced off the inside corners by accident on each of them while I was repositioning. But now that I kinda get how you need to treat them I don’t think that will be happening again. Just based on one use I was happy with them - hydrating and didn’t slide around on my face. I’ll post a review on Sephora after I’ve used them a bunch more but my very first impression was good!

Starting off the new year with the classic Boscia luminizing Black charcoal mask. It really helps to remove blackheads and my stubborn pores.

I used this Bobbi brown mask last night,I got it at Winners before Christmas and had never tried it,it is very hydrating.Sorry for the poor lighting,it's been really cold here so spending most of my evenings down in our basement by the wood stove.

I feel you @Seymore3! I currently have a youtube video playing on my TV of a crackling fireplace to fool my mind into feeling less cold!!
