Is there a cheaper dupe to Tarte Mermaid Skin serum?

I really love the Tarte Mermaid Skin Serum after using the trial size. However, a full size is a bit expensive. Does anybody know a similar product that works just as well that’s less expensive? Let me know. Thanks.

TARTE - SEA Mermaid Skin Hyaluronic H2O Serum is primarily a hyaluronic acid serum. There are several cheaper HA serums that perform as well or better, and contain more beneficial ingredients. For instance: 

-  The INKEY List Hyaluronic Acid (HA) Hydrating Face Serum 1 oz/ 30 mL

- THE ORDINARY - Buffet (a peptides + HA serum) 

- Any of The Ordinary’s HA serums, like THE ORDINARY - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5

- First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair® Hydrating Serum ; it’s close to the Tarte serum’s price so it might not interest you, but it has a more robust formula than Mermaid Skin. 

I’m sure there are other options out there. I’ve used Mermaid Skin (I had a deluxe sample) and The Ordinary Buffet. I found Mermaid Skin to be very overpriced for what it contains, and it wasn’t hydrating my skin as much as I needed it to. It was okay, but I wanted something better. TO Buffet is the serum I still use for my mostly-dry combo skin. It’s very hydrating for me and it gives my skin a major boost of peptides. 🙂

Thank you so much! I like the mermaid skin one because it is a bit lightweight as I do have oily and acne prone skin. So I like light moisture as I’m afraid anything else would break me out. I’m thinking I will try the ones from The Ordinary. Thank you so much!
