Do glamglow products really work, or are they just a gimmick?

I'm considering buying some glamglow products (specifically masks), but sometimes I wonder if they're just hiding behind fun packaging and crazy colors. Is there something cheaper that works just as well?

I absolutely love Thirstymud. My skin is slightly sensitive, so youth mud burns. Supermud, though amazing, I feel like the Irish Moor Mud Mask from Peter Thomas Roth, is just as good if not better. Any of the Peter Thomas Roth masks are really great. I also love Sephora's masks. Tonymoly masks aren't found at Sephora. They are around $3 each and are sheet masks. I get them at Urban Outfitters (it's the only reason I go there). Their pearl mask along with their red wine mask leaves my skin absolutely glowing. If there is a lush near you, I recommend Cup O'Coffee and Rosy Cheeks. In their stores, you can ask one of the people who work there about their masks and they can help and figure out which mask is best for you. I hope I helped!

I use the supermud and Thirstymud all the time. Out of all the masks that I’ve tried from other brands, these two are my favorite.

I use the clearing mud and it’s one of my favorite face masks. I have acne prone skin and I feel like it really does help with clearing and controlling oil. I do think their products are overpriced though.

Hi this is how I feel about GG products pricing 😏. There are other masks that work very well and aren’t so drying. I love Caudalie masks.

I bought one of Sephora's gift sets with the Supermud, the tingling one (can't remember the name but it has a tingling effect and green tea leaf in it), the Youthmud one, and the hydrating one.  The only one that I would re-purchase is the Supermud, but I do actually really love it.  It's exceeded my expectations-- I have a ton of blackheads on my nose and this is the only product that has ever made an instant and obvious difference in clearing them up!  I couldn't believe it.  I would definitely recommend that one, but pass on the rest.

Personally, I feel like they are ok, but overpriced. I've had similar results from other brands with cheaper masks. Some of my alternative favorites are Caudalie, Peter Thomas Roth, and Elizavecca.
