Often people ask for recommendations on a skincare routine or for specific products/combinations. This might be a place to share your everyday skincare, both AM and PM. A skincare "what are you wearing" as it were. Hope this is useful.
*Age - 40
Skin type - oily/combination
Current skin condition - quite dehydrated (winter/indoor heating)*
01/17/16 - AM skincare in the order I used
1. Nude Jelly cleanser (love)
2. Pixi Glow tonic (5% glycolic toner - love)
3. Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Spritz (sample)
4. Radical Skincare Youth Infusion serum - hydrating and anti-ageing (new to me. Testing)
5. Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream (like)
6. Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine cream (really like as an AM moisturizer)
I will try to post PM skincare tonight so the post can be comprehensive.
General comments - Okay skin. Apparently the age between 38-42 is a transformational time in hormones (dehydrated skin/spots), so I am more aware of how my skin performs/reacts . My skincare definitely has more "actives" now than before.
Hi @greenchilli
No, I don't.
I usually use Luna 5 days per week and Problem Solver maybe once per 2 weeks or if I feel like acne is approachinggg
I am functioning in slo-mo today.
41, oily and dehydrated, but all good.
If I don't address dehydration in winter, my skin gets oilier. I hope folks that have oily skin don't forget hydration.....it really is key. Embrace the creams, oils, and hydrating serums.
12/11/16 - AM
1. Cleanse - Tata Harper Regenerating Cleanser
2. Tone - Pixi Glow tonic
3. Hylamide SubQ - This is a very nice Hyaluronic acid product and very effective on me. I recommend.
4. Tata Harper Restorative Eye cream
5. Darphin Retexturizing Moisturizer - I mostly use this only in winter.
I plan to slap on makeup today. It is cold and cloudy. How many cheerful colours can I wear today? ALL.

27, the driest my skin has ever been. Makeup sits horribly on it, hopefully it'll adjust to this weather soon.
Clinique TTDO balm
Kate Somerville goat milk cleanser
Dr. Dennis Gross Ferulic+ Retinol peel pad
Caudalie Premier Cru eye cream
Sunday Riley Tidal moisturizer
Clarins Santal oil
Fresh advanced lip therapy treatment
Soap and Glory body butter on my hands because I'm out of hand cream...
Any recommendations on an ultra hydrating, preferably unscented, non greasy hand cream? Help please!!
@Haleyhale It's not unscented but my favorite hand cream is C.O. Bigelow's Dr. Hiosous Quince Hand Lotion. I've been using it for years, at bedtime in the winter.
Thank for the rec, but I don't know where I would find that brand? I remember them doing lip glosses for bath and body works, do they still sell there? @JenniferOhJenny
@Haleyhale You can get it on the C.O. Bigelow direct website or also at Nordstrom. I hope it works for you if you try it!
This isn't a hand cream, but I use Clinique Body butter a lot. It is unscented and does the job.
I quite like the fact it comes in a giant tub! Will try it! Thanks, @greenchilli
28- dry, dry, dry skin. And the air at work is super dry, I woke up this morning with the worst chapped up lips, but the rest of my skin was in surprisingly good shape. I took a chance masking at work and got lucky!
Last night:
Korres greek yoghurt cleanser
Erborian water lock mask
PTR unwrinkle toner lotion
Dr. Brandt glow serum
Dr. Brandt NNM 3-d Filler
Clinique repairwear eye cream
It cream
PTR night cream
This morning
SO much chapstick
water
Same minus cleanser, serum, and night cream
My skin will be happy to have "spa saturday" when I get home from work tonight.
@CC3616 I hope your skin is doing better, dry skin is so uncomfortable. Keep at it with all the water and all the Chapstick. Wish this winter was over already...
@Haleyhale same! Ready for it to be done. Woke up to more snow. Good luck finding a hand cream, I'm scent sensitive and it can be hard to find unscented/light things! I can do the ahava mud and like tatcha hand cream. I like the josie maran body butter too and it works well on my hands.
Ugh, snow. I think I would love the Tatcha, always get along great with their products, will probably treat myself and try it. Thanks, @CC3616
I've just finished up finals, so my skin is finally starting to finally de-stress! Normal to dry skin, slightly sensitive. Early 20's.
Usual Routine:
AM:
1. Rinse with water
2. Fresh Rose Eye Cream
3. Clinique Moisture Surge (recently switched to this from CeraVe AM...as in a few months ago) - LOVE
4. Neutrogena Dry Touch SPF 55 - meh - suggestions of other SPF greatly appreciated!
PM:
1. Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes
2. CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser
3. Origins Renewal Willowherb Serum
4. Clinique Moisture Surge or Clinique Overnight Moisture Surge Mask
Weekly:
1. Fresh Soy Exfoliant
2. Various Mask Samples - This week is Origins Rose Clay Mask
I have been traveling all week - in cold weather, flying, dehydration, working long hours, little sleep, and random food. Now I am home to recover. It is early, but I have already done my PM skincare.
PM - 12/09/16
41, hormonal, dehydrated, and exhausted
1. Cleanse - Emma Hardie Cleansing balm
2. Biologique Recherche P50
3. Odacite Mint+Green Tea mist - I saw a few new spritzes and decided to try a couple. I should have waited.
It is supposed to hydrate and rebalance oily/ congested skin. It has salicyclic acid, aloe vera, willow bark etc. I don't have any spots or congestion, but I wanted to play with new skincare and in my eagerness I sprayed this on.
I think this spritz is more suitable as a daytime/summer product. I feel a bit of tightening in my face, which really isn't what I wanted at the moment. Lets see how I feel in the morning. I added some extra layers of hydration....
4. Aurelia Revitalize and Glow serum
5. DDG Ferulic and Retinol Eye cream
6. Aurelia Cell Repair Night oil - love
7. Omorovicza Rejuvenating Night Cream - a tiny bit
So curious about that Emma Hardie balm! Going to be next on my purchase list!
December 7, 2016 PM
27, skin is sooo dehydrated and dry and flakey and awful...I do not love winter.
Clinique TTDO blam
Ren Evercalm cleansing milk
Clarins Santal oil
Sunday Riley Tidal
Caudalie Premier Cru eye cream
Spritz of Farmacy Skin Dew
Fresh advanced lip therapy
TONS of Aveeno hand cream
Tomorrow is going to be extreme hydration mask day!
Age - 19
Skin type - Normal but dry in the winter
Very simple routine last night (dec 7):
1. AmorePacific - Treatment Cleansing Oil
2. FAB - Radiance Pads
3. COSRX - BHA Blackhead Power Cream (trying this out to see if it gets rid of clogged pores)
Comments: Face seems smoother in the morning but I still see some clogged pores on my cheeks.
This morning (dec 8):
1. Sunday Riley - Ceramic Slip
2. Caudalie - Vinosource sorbet (used as eye cream)
3. Sunday Riley - Tidal
4. Chanel - Hydra Beauty Flash
5. Chanel - UV Essentiel sunscreen
26-combination
PM: tried a few new DSs last night
Sunday Riley Blue Moon
Lancer The Method Polish
Tata Harper Purifying Mask
Sunday Riley Tidal
Biossance Rose Oil
43- dry skin
AM- just Simple Micellar water
spritz of NIOD superoxide dismutase saccharide mist
drops of NIOD CAIS
NIOD multi-molecular hyaluronic complex
purliss blue lotus balancing moisturizer
clarins uv hip sunscreen
PM- 1st cleanse Body Shop cleansing balm
2nd cleanse Neutrogena cleanser or NIOD sanskrit sapponins (every 2nd night)
then same as AM, but moisturizer Neostrata moisture intense mixed with The Ordinary rose hip oil
A few times a week I will use PC 2% salicylic acid and The Ordinary Retinol serum.
Once a week I use Neostrata 10% glycol acid peel.
@deannarpHow do you like Sanskrit sapponins? My skin is sensitive and dehydrated, and I am thinking of buying it. Does it really makes your pores smaller?
