Often people ask for recommendations on a skincare routine or for specific products/combinations. This might be a place to share your everyday skincare, both AM and PM. A skincare "what are you wearing" as it were. Hope this is useful.
*Age - 40
Skin type - oily/combination
Current skin condition - quite dehydrated (winter/indoor heating)*
01/17/16 - AM skincare in the order I used
1. Nude Jelly cleanser (love)
2. Pixi Glow tonic (5% glycolic toner - love)
3. Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Spritz (sample)
4. Radical Skincare Youth Infusion serum - hydrating and anti-ageing (new to me. Testing)
5. Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream (like)
6. Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine cream (really like as an AM moisturizer)
I will try to post PM skincare tonight so the post can be comprehensive.
General comments - Okay skin. Apparently the age between 38-42 is a transformational time in hormones (dehydrated skin/spots), so I am more aware of how my skin performs/reacts . My skincare definitely has more "actives" now than before.
I like it...it does not make my dry skin feel drier. I use it every second day as directed and have been using it inly for a week so can't comment on the pores yet but my skin is more even toned and less blotchy, but I attribute this to the CAIS.
Thank you so much for the response ๐ I am looking at CAIS as well ๐ and few other things from the line. I became a bit obsessed with deciem brands, and want to try many things. The most important part is that the cleanser is not drying, many of them have that effect on me. Thank you again ๐

Comments:
I'm changing up a few products today, but only one of them is 'new' to me, so I'm not overly concerned. It's getting colder here and I finished my bottle of Summer In Hossegor, so I'm switching to the Autumn serum for now. I also finished my DE C-Firma before my trip so I'm now testing out the Youth to the People serum for the first time. So far, so good.
I really trimmed my routine down to bare essentials while I traveled this time (eye cream, my Bl+C/Jo+L combo and the Murad) and I was amazed at how well my skin did with just those things.
Where'd you go? Somewhere warm I hope! How's the spinach/green tea serum? And is it actually green?
@heartsmyface yup, warm - St Vincent/Grenadines!
it's a clear serum, which kinda boggles my mind, lol. Science! ๐
I've only used it once but it absorbed well, wasn't sticky and felt hydrating.
I have been curious about that May Coop Raw Sauce. Would you share your thoughts? Thanks!
I am exciting to get my hands on the DE C-Firma!
@Babypeachist I've been using my big bottle for the better part of the year and to be completely honest, at this point I'm just trying to finish it up so I can move on to something else.
it's not bad, I just don't find it great. When I first started using it I thought it was helping to hydrate and plump my skin but with longterm use it has ended up feeling more superficial and fleeting.
Thanks for letting me know. That's a shame. I am looking for a toner/mist in my routine. I guess the Raw Sauce's not the one. I am about to play with the Skin Inc. pure serum mist!
No problem @Babypeachist!
i use the skin inc one occasionally and I do like it.
i always forget to use it though because I keep it on my vanity rather than with my other skincare ๐ When it gets used it's mostly as a hydrating spritz during makeup application.
Most dry patches are gone but I'm still dealing with dryness under my nose.

Didn't wear sunscreen since I've been in the house all day. I forgot to add I've got a lot of tiny little white heads around my chin after committing a cardinal sin of skin health and fell asleep with my makeup on Friday night. Urgh.

Woah 4% retinoid! I wasn't aware that it went that high up! I'm still on .5%. How long have you been using retinoids for?
Ack! I meant .04%. Yikes at 4 percent, haha.
I was gonna say how is your skin not melting off your face? ๐ I can barley tolerate .5% and I've used it for years!
Ooops:
