Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Glad to hear the Algenist is working out well for you, @fatimamummy!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

What a great Algenist mask @fatimamummy! Those results are awesome!! 💕 Your Saturday morning sheet mask routine sounds wonderful!! 😍

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@itsfi  It’s seems to be working for me for now .

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Ohh @fatimamummy this sounds pretty nice!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@fatimamummy  I don't think I've seen this one yet - it sounds great! I'm happy you're seeing results with it! I'll definitely have to keep a lookout at TJ Maxx for it!

Glad you were able to figure out where/how to fit sheet masks into your routine! Sounds like you have a good system! 👍

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@fatimamummy  Oooo I need to try this one!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

F for Frudia and I was lucky to try them all in the past - thanks to @Shosh85! Yesterday I did the last of the pack I bought. I remember this one being one of the two kinds I preferred

My face

Spoiler
20200209_124953.jpg

Good fit though the biocellulose masks have me spoiled. It smelled like grape juice. It was dripping out of the package so I applied the mask over the sink. Either the serum soaked in really fast or the material didn't hold it as well. I wore it 17 minutes and my forehead and nose areas were quite dry while the cheeks were moist. The serum that was on my face absorbed quickly and there was the tiniest bit of tack that faded quickly. There was a nice amount of extra serum in the package that I used on my face, neck, and hands. I'm not sure how to judge pore control. I think that's something you would see with extended use. Still, my skin looked nice and fresh and felt good. I'd say A-. If I needed more masks, I think I'd be curious to try new-to-me ones vs. buying these again. But as with most masks though, if it fell into my lap I'd use them again. They treated me fine but I don't love them.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

the packaging is adorable @ShortErica and good results too.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@ShortErica  I remember using this one a bit ago and I think I definitely liked it but seem to remember my skin soaking up the serum more quickly than usual. From what I recall, it was fairly close to the expiration date and I think I attributed it to that. I'm wondering if frudia masks in general have fairly short expiration dates or if I just happened to grab an older one from the shelf.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

I think mine had a July 2020 expiration @PrettyPaint. Thanks for letting me know that you had a similar experience. I don't remember thinking that the first time I used their masks. You're probably onto something about the expiration.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

There is little else better than biocellulose, @ShortErica🙂

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

You're right @eshoe!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@ShortErica  Aww sorry you didn’t love it. I feel like the grape smell would have me tho!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@ather it was still a good mask but since my collection grew so much last year from both buying and unicorn mail, I've become a bit more picky. The grape smell is unique. I feel like other fruit smells are more common like watermelon or berry.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@ShortErica  I agree. I’ve not seen many grape scented masks before. Which is weird. But I love the smell of grape. The grape scented marker was always my favourite 🍇

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@ShortErica  I think out of all the Frudia products I've used, the masks are the best. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to buy more, but if I spotted the blueberry one at TJ Maxx I might consider picking that up. I feel like in general Frudia makes "decent" products, but nothing super amazing. I just really like how most of the products smell. 😉 Glad this was in the A range for you!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

You and I think @missjeanie have the most experience with their non masks from my recollection. Was it serums and moisturizers @Shosh85?

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@ShortErica @I agree with @Shosh85 .  Their moisturizer wasn’t quite enough for my dry skin, I managed to use it up over the summer, but I wouldn’t re purchase. The serum I used up as well, and while it did no harm, it didn’t do anything positive either and again, I wouldn’t re purchase. The scent as are lovely though, and they’re in ascetically pleasing packaging.  I will say I was inclined to grab their snail  sheet mask when I spotted them though. I love a good snail product so I’ll have to see how it does!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@missjeanie  Oh, I'm jealous! I've been wanting to try the snail one, along with caviar one from the same line! I'd definitely pick up either of those if I saw them! I'd love to know how it does for you! 👍🐌

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@ShortErica  Yeah, besides their masks, there are serums, moisturizers and toners (or at least that's all I've seen) The moisturizers aren't moisturizing enough for my dry skin and the serums just don't seem to do much. I think the scent is my favorite part about using them 😉

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Shosh85  I think the scent would be great for me too!!
