Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@PrettyPaint, it’s hard to tell how they decided which of the masks in this line would smell like the flavor you expect and which just don’t have a scent. 🤷🏻‍♀️ This one definitely is in the banana runts camp.

Interesting about the itchiness; maybe your skin is sensitive to something in bananas? 🍌 Were you feeling itchy all over or just in certain areas of your face?

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@itsfi  I find that pretty odd as well. It seems like the whole line would be scented the same as the milk flavor...

I am quite perplexed about the itchiness/banana thing. I don't think it was a certain area of my face...just my face in general felt itchy. I didn't notice any redness or a rash, though, so I will probably try it again in the future just because the scent was so yummy! 🙂

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@itsfi   Banana runts sounds good to me!!!  yeah it’s odd how incongruous they are with their scents.

RE: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Hello everyone! I am catching up posting my masking so far this year! Haha! Loved the formula cranberry scrub gentle but effective and falls under the want to eat category lol. Lush Rudolph also want to eat it smells like chocolate and does a good job to reduce oil and pore size while maintaining hydration! Origins hello calm is a mask that’s remaining in my stash it hydrated and is gentle for my skins any need! Tree hut body scrubs are repurchased regularly a good staple scrub for me just picked up a sugar cookie fragrance from holiday😋 I really like the la vanila under arm mask as I feel it does reduce bacteria and cleanse to help my natural deodorant be more effective! I’m really liking the garnier honey hair mask I can’t say I’d want to eat it but I will repurchase bc my hair is hydrated and silky the next day withoutresidue. The body shop tea tree mask /scrub is good not something I wish rush to repurchase cuz I’d like something a bit more exfoliating for my once a week more intense scrub. I love lush scrubs mint Julips tastes yummy so I guess I want to eat it haha. Erno laszlo eye masks are okay, mocha nose peel off mask is pretty good not at all yummy smelling though and I’m still looking for the perfect consistency... the glamglow lace mask was good hydration but the bottom half slid down, annoying... Pacifica was a good mask for mattifying as it says but the fit was off too small around forehead. The teami was nice I did 5 mins and it was relaxing opened up my pores to mask, the opi mask was nice legs/feet felt hydrated. The peeling shoes I had on for a little over an hour directions said 1-1.5 all liquid absorbed but I had somewhere to be and had to get them off, this is my first foot peel so we shall see!😅

Re: RE: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

So much scrolling! Glad you played catch up with us @SAlyFitz! Who sells the Tree Hut body scrub? I've been using one from Bath & Body Works but will probably want to try some others.

Re: RE: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Nice masking, @SAlyFitz - you sure pack it all in there 😄 The Lush - I haven't tried any of their masks yet. Their products that I HAVE tried have always been deliciously-scented, though!

Re: RE: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@SAlyFitz  Looks like a nice round up of masks! That Hello, Calm is a favorite of mine and that Rudolph sounds delicious! I always love the masks that resemble chocolate 😉😋🍫

Re: RE: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Yes!! I wanna try the cocoa moisture mask!

Re: RE: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@SAlyFitz  Awesome choices!!

Re: RE: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Thanks!😊

Re: RE: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

So many great looking masks @SAlyFitz I just used those same peeling feet masks, and my feet were peeling for two weeks 😆

Re: RE: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

I’m happy to know I should see some action haha

Re: RE: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@SAlyFitz   Ouhhh the Lavanila mask sounds awesome!   I’ve been using the Pukku Puku Bubble Soda Pack in the shower.  You leave it on for 90 seconds, it bubbles up and cleans out all the bacteria and you rinse.   I don’t even wear deodorant most of the time now.  It’s so effective.

Re: RE: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Owh I’d be interested where did you purchase yours from exactly? Also what is the price point? It must be great not having to do deodorant!!

Re: RE: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@SAlyFitz   I bought it in Japan but I just checked and they sell it on Dokodemo.  It was $6-7 but it’s marked up to $15 online.  I guess it’s not too bad with import fees.

just a little side warning- it’s a whitening product (as is everything there)

Re: RE: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

So good to see you @SAlyFitz! Hope 2020 has been treating you well so far. I looove the scent on Lush Rudolph too! 😍 I’m intrigued by the Teami and OPI masks. 🤔😃

Re: RE: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Thanks!! Teami was nice strong scent, makes me wonder if I could create a diy steam🤔 the opi foot mask was only $4 at a Marshall’s while I was on vacation in the fall, I prob wouldn’t pay full price.  I like lush volcano better but don’t buy foot/leg masks all the time.

Re: RE: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@SAlyFitz  I am totally intrigued by the lavanila detox mask now. I didn't even know of its existence, so I'm definitely going to research this one. Thanks! 🙂

Re: RE: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Great! I am using it like once a month or every 3 weeks and it’s workin well for me! Price isn’t awful and you don’t need more thank a thin layer each time!

2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

No picture, I don't have the heart to fight with formatting right now. Dug out my Ole Henriksen PHAT mask for a more traditional masking experience tonight, and given the pink starburst scent I'm actually super upset I didn't think to bring home any candy! I left it on for about 25 minutes while I soaked in the tub (lush has their valentines bombs out. brought home the Peachy bomb to cheer myself up) and it was exactly how I remembered it. A little warming but nothing uncomfortable. It always leaves my skin super soft, gives me a natural flush and has a nice tack to it which is making me consider using it before our girls night out this weekend.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Nickelliebear1 the Peachy Bomb sounds amazing. Come to think of it, haven't come across one of their I haven't liked!
