Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge!

@Shosh85 I also try to limit them too. @itsfi  Thanks that’s great to know!!!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge!

L is for Lapcos gifted to me from the ever so thoughtful and lovely @CC3616 IMG_20200319_200924938.jpg

Spoiler
This is a white sheet consumed in a milky white liquid serum. The scent is a touch of perfume, not strong at all, fit was spot on, wear time 20 minutes, after removing, my skin was highly moisturized and perfectly hydrated. No additional products were used or needed. No tackiness after the serum absorbed. I love these masks, and would absolutely use this one again

RE: Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge!

Never seen this one but it sounds like a winner. Hopefully I can remember to grab one if I see it somewhere @lmaster

Re: RE: Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge!

They are worth grabbing @Weetart a few different variations as well

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge!

Oooh, this sounds lovely @lmaster. Milky serums are my skin’s friends! 😃

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge!

@itsfi oh I loved this mask!! Definitely will seek more out,,, at some point!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge!

@lmaster  Sounds like an awesome mask!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge!

@ather I loved the results and how realistic the milk serum looks

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge!

@lmaster  So happy to hear you enjoyed this one! It's my second favorite Lapcos mask! (Honey takes 1st place for me of course😉)

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge!

Ummmmm yes @Shosh85 I'd have to agree after using the honey version yesterday! Thank you so much 💕

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge!

"O" for Oh I see alcohol fourth on the list!

Spoiler
The Naturally G4U Renew & Hydrate Enzyme Mask is one of three I picked up from this brand and the second I've tried. I generally enjoy enzyme masks, especially ones with papaya. This one has pumpkin and glycol acid, as well as a few EO's including lemon, rosemary, and cinnamon. It has a spiced scent, with the cinnamon taking the lead. I've noticed a cooling effect on my skin both times I've tried it, which is nice. I remove it after about 10 minutes, though recommended time is 20, just to be safe. I haven't noticed a dramatic difference in skin texture/brightness/etc. after using it, I will give it another go, but it's been pretty 'ok.' The Korres Lip Butter in Wild Rose doesn't have a rose scent at all (their Jasmine Butter doesn't have a jasmine scent, either), but gives a nice flushed red tint to my lips and keeps them soft while masking. Love this one!

The JMSolution Derma Care Centella Repair Capsule Mask is packed with 3042ppm of centella asiatica extract, madecassoside (part of the centella plant), and ceramide (though near the end of the list). It had a single plastic protective backing, and was drenched in a clear, thin, scentless serum. The fit was slightly off, bunching up around the cheeks/temples and requiring some snips around the eyes. No biggie, once properly placed, I wore it for around 20 minutes. My skin looked slightly plumped, which I don't think is the goal of this mask, but I'll take it!

As for repairing...not sure that alcohol should be fourth down on the list of a repairing mask. Love some of the other ingredients, but I would seek out other masks if I was looking for something to calm and soothe my skin. Still - no bad reactions, always a silver lining!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge!

Too bad about the alcohol @eshoe cause centella asiatica is so nice to see. But glad it worked out.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge!

Nice color theme @eshoe; it all matches. I have that JM Solutions mask - the ingredients, minus the alcohol, look good. My skin isn’t typically bothered by alcohol in sheet masks but I do prefer that they not be present at all or at least further down the list.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge!

They don’t seem to irritate my skin much either, @itsfi, thankfully. I don’t know much about the cumulative effect they might have, so I just try to limit them a bit🤷🏻‍♀️

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge!

@eshoe  I love how your sheet mask colours matched your other masks perfect!! Your picture looks awesome!!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge!

Thank you @ather, helps me rotate through products better😄

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge!

@eshoe  No bad reactions and plump skin sounds good to me! Glad it turned out decent for you! 😃

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge!

It was a good mask to fill the space between a wash-off and a sleeping mask, @Shosh85. Wouldn’t buy again, but glad I tried it!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge!

That's great you didn't see any bad reactions @eshoe visually appealing!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge!

I’ll take it, @lmaster even with alcohol;)

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge!

L is for Lavender

6515176A-F63F-43CB-9569-E88DB03E6266.jpeg

Spoiler
It was a long week and to help it come to a close, I reached for these lavender-scented lovelies last night. Scented items are hit-and-miss for me, which I imagine to be the case for many of us. Some scents make for an 'ahhhhh' moment and these hit just that note. I can count on NoHj to come out with some great packaging and this one is very calming and pretty. The NoHj Herbs Fit Sheet Mask - Lavender itself is also calming and provides light moisture to the skin. It's one that I think could work very well for normal, combination and oily skin for most of the year. Drier or dehydrated skin types could like this one as well during the warmest part of the year. Overall this is nice mask, but I wouldn't say it's a standout - it's a nice-to-have, but not a must-have.

Now, the Megrhythm Gentle Steam Eye Masks ... those are must haves. Love 'em! ❤️
