Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. 

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

L is for Love ♥️

I love coffee. I love the smell of coffee. I love masks that smell like coffee... ☕️😉

The Hiddencos Americano Mask Sheet is not new to me; I may have posted about it more than a few times on BIC, so I'll keep it short and sweet. It's a tan-beige hued cotton sheet mask saturated in a tan-beige tinted essence that smells wonderfully of strong coffee (though I'm not sure if that's a result of the Arabica coffee extract from Colombia (which as the 13th ingredient is a bit further down the ingredients list than I had hoped)  or from the added fragrance (sigh, but it's the last ingredient listed). The mask adheres well and with a few snips here and there, the fit can be made to work. The essence takes some time before it's fully absorbed in to the skin and leaves a very slight tacky-to-the-touch feeling which works out well in my mind for morning masking. The mask is geared at moisturizing and nourishing the skin; it does a nice job of both, though I would say it's more moisturizing than nourishing. I very much enjoy this mask; it's a repurchase and will continue to be so.

I love the smell of freshly ground coffee beans or a Fresh pot of coffee @heartsmyface! ♥️☕️ I actually think I may love that scent more than coffee itself.

@Shosh85 @It’s funny cause I love coffee scented things but I’m not a huge coffee fan.  lattes maybe but is that really coffee or just coffee flavoured milk?  😛

@heartsmyface  Well I don't drink my coffee black or anything, I like it with creamer 😉The "flavored milk" options are probably my favorite. haha! My usual drink is a Raspberry White Chocolate Mocha from Starbucks 😋 I've definitely always loved a coffee scent!
There's a Cafe in my city that has been there for 110 years and is known for their spanish coffee... it is soo good!

@itsfi  It's Huber's Cafe on S.W. Third. (They call it a Cafe, but it's more like a restaurant) They make the Spanish Coffee right next to you and the glass is flaming when they do it. 😃 They have amazing food and other drinks as well, but they're definitely famous for their Spanish coffee!👇

I haven’t been masking all week.  Just coming up to the hotel room and crashing with makeup on and all.  I have been washing my face in the mornings and doing my regular skincare then but sigh.  The marathon is almost over and since I’m at 12:30 and my mind is racing I thought I’d try to be nice to my skin.  
O is for oil.  This mask is nice and stretchy (as I swear all black masks are).  I love that it says it’s very good to human skin.  I am a human and I have skin!!!  Perfect!  It has a nice almost sweet and floral fragrance.  I’m confused by it.  It smells like apples and flowers, but I like it.  I got a nice cooling sensation from this one.  It left my skin so plump and happy.  I think anything would leave my skin happy at this point tbh but I’m sure I would like this one even with regular skincare.

Now I wish all masks comforted me and told me they were for human skin @heartsmyface! What if that isn't what they are truly meant for?! Haha!

@Shosh85   It was really good.  I was looking at the back and by the sticker it appears I purchased it in Prague which, in my mind, means it must be a fairly popular one.  I’ll need to keep an eye out for it.
