Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni

So much BIC to catch up on!!

On Monday I tried out the Yadah Rose as my first mask for unofficial Yadah week!

I was hesitant going in as florals can be hit or miss for me depending on how floral they are.  I stuck my nose right into the packet and there was a pretty significant floral scent.  Once I had the mask on I no longer noticed it though.  The material is what I call similar to a filter, with tiny little holes in it.  I left it on for about 30 minutes and I thought I might have felt a bit of tingling when I first placed it on my face, but it only lasted maybe 15 seconds.  There was lots of extra serum in the packet.  The mask says it's for brightening and revitalizing and I do agree that I looked brighter and a bit more well rested than before I put the mask on.  I do think that most sheet masks I use have a bit of a revitalizing effect on my skin, and this one was only slightly more so than any other mask.  I'm not a huge fan of the scent so for me this one would be a good filler mask, but not something to rush out and purchase.  Big shout out to @ShortErica for sending me this mask in some awesome unicorn mail so that I'd have enough Yadah masks to do the week!

Tuesday Night was Soothing Jelly Pack from Yadah!

This mask had a nice clean scent to it.  The jelly serum was perfect.  It's what I would describe as the consistency of hair gel.  The mask material on this one is the same that was in the Rose Stay all Day Pack.  I had it on for a full half hour, and probably could've kept it on for another 10 to 20 minutes at least, but I had to tap out and get to sleep.  I pulled the mask off and massaged the jelly in a bit and it felt great.  I really enjoyed the texture on this mask/serum and I'm pretty excited to try the other jelly masks.  My skin wasn't really in need of heavy soothing, but it was a touch dry around my nose (wohooo for allergies), I made sure to put some of the extra serum around my nose and it looked a lot better.  My skin was left hydrated and looked awesome the next morning. I'm putting this one above the Rose in my ranking thus far.

Wednesday night I worked a shift bartending after my day job so I was knackered when I finally got home.  The Pore Care Mask Pack was on deck!

I was originally unsure how I'd like the Pore Care since I tend to associate it with tightening and that's not really something I seek out.  I usually spot treat my problem pores, and wasn't sure how the rest of my face would make out.  The packet had a scent to it that was hard to place.  I could make out some of the anise, and ash scents.  I could see where others would smell a nutty fragrance too.  I put the black mask on and I really enjoyed the fabric, not the same as the 'filter type' fabric.  It felt very soft.  I had the mask on for about 25 minutes.  After I took it off I only took a minute or two to let the extra serum sink in before moving in with my nightly skincare, (it was after 12;30 and ya girl was tired).  I kind of wish I'd have waited a bit longer to see how I felt about the pore aspect of the claims.  I didn't notice much in those couple of minutes.  My skin did look nice and clear, well hydrated and bouncy so I'm still calling it a win, Thanks  for sending this one my way!
 My favourites in order are now Soothing Jelly, Pore Care and then Rose.

Im living for thé jelly @lmaster ! I don’t mind trying out the florals, but I’m more of a fruity kinda gal for my mask scents. But 98% of the time i don’t smell any of the masks after I’ve got them on. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I switch back and forth between an English and French keyboard so much my auto correct doesn’t quite work on some words, and will correct French to English and vice versa. @eshoe I figure everyone likes tea anyway right? The other one I get all the time in English is y’a whenever I try to type out ya. I think the thé is the one most people notice though. Lol

@missjeanie sounds like some good solid Yadah masking! I haven't tried the All Day ones yet (those are next) but so far the Jelly masks are above the rest as well - they really feel so nice! Glad you could have a full week of Yadah! 😃

I've got to write my thoughts about the rose one. I used it this morning @missjeanie. I have the same feeling about scents though. I like that this is not fake rose though and especially that it doesn't hang around. I haven't done a jelly one but I agree Pore Care > Rose in my opinion too. Interesting about anise. That is one scent I don't like at all and I didn't smell it or ash or nuts. Similar feelings as well that I don't know how much pore care it did but something happens where the skin looks improved. Glad you had a nice and clear, well hydrated and bouncy face. Yay Yadah!

Y Yadah Pore care mask thank you so much @ShortErica this is definitely another great Yadah mask. totally in love with the bamboo charcoal sheet, and it does smell nutty! the mask fit perfectly on my face also 😊 left it on for 20 minutes, my pores looked smaller, face had a bit of a glow and felt soft. I'll definitely keep an eye out for more of these
