Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread, and giving us a place to share our love for masks๐
Great reviews thanks ๐ @itsfi
@Cissy63, thank you! These were lovely products to use in a masking session. I had forgotten I had some of these so it was nice to use them.
Hmmm, I suspect there are more than a few here with photo albums full of masking sessions, @itsfi! The Wander Beauty masks are a treat, yes. I have never seen this type of eye patch in jar form, like the hydrogels; it seems like that might be a more economical/sustainable way to offer them.
I just finished a DS of the same Ouai hair mask, although mine had a prominent Melrose scent. I also have a DS of one for thick hair to check, now I am curious to see how scented that one will be ๐ค
@eshoe, lol. I initially took your reference to "photo albums" to the physical ones before realizing otherwise since I don't keep them on my phone in an album. It seems that some of the material for certain eye gels might make it challenging to produce them in the containers that we see for hydrogels. Yeah, scent varies from samples / products. We've seen that before. I personally wouldn't have minded the "prominent Melrose scent" in your DS of the Ouai hair mask, but it feels like it's better that it was unscented than for it to have an awful scent.
Oh wow that sheet mask sounds amazing @itsfi - agree anything that Makes me look more awake is always good
@Kim888, oh, I agree! Looking awake is half the battle some days. ๐คฃ I have enjoyed her masks in this line; her other one was more hit and miss, but the ones in this 1-a-day series that I've tried have been pretty good.
Multi step mask

This sounds good @lmaster ๐
It really is, if your in need of exfoliation @Cissy63
Another Wish Formula win, @lmaster! Also, โsquishโ is a fun word โบ๏ธ
@eshoe it is such a fun word ๐คฃ
@lmaster, I like how this combines physical and chemical exfoliation. Results sound great - soft smooth skin is hard to beat.
@itsfi this was a great find I stumbled upon a year or so ago,,, it still works beautifully
I tried a two-step mask by Masque + ology. Itโs the Collagen Melting Web Mask. I had to get past the picture on the package. It did creep me out. It claims that itโs โThe non surgical two-step facelift mask. The activating niacinomide and jojoba oil cream begins to hydrate and form the skin. Then the collagen web mask reacts to this cream, partially melting into the skin while the remaining web lifts and tightens the skinโ.
So I applied as much of the oil cream as I could to my face. By the time I unfolded the two part web sheet I could feel the cream sinking into my skin . I squeezed as much out as I could to put more on my face. The web mask was dry and didnโt fit well on my face. The cream felt great. The web not so much.
I left it on for 20 minutes as directed.
When I took off the web, it was adheared to my face. Not painful to remove, more like it was stuck on my skin.
The results were good. My skin was very soft and it had an appearance of being even.
But I donโt think I will repurchase right away. If I do I will need to see about cutting the web to fit better.

Oh my, @Cissy63, I can see how the packaging is a little terrifying! Seems like some masks lean that way, unintentionally, I am guessing ๐
The entire process soundsโฆinteresting. The โwebโ might make me feel a little claustrophobic, you are a trooper. While the results seem good, I can see why it isnโt an immediate repurchase for you. Great review!
Yes, I donโt think this is going to be a quick repurchase ๐ I reminded me of the MRI of my brain many years ago. They put a device over my face that looked too much like that picture ๐ฅบ. @eshoe
Oh @Cissy63, no, I donโt think I would want to be reminded of that, either. Iโve heard it can feel a little claustrophobic, too. I am sorry you had to go through that (and be reminded of it as well๐ข). There are too many other good masks out there!
@Cissy63, I think I tried a similar type mask and yes, itโs very โฆ interesting how it โmeltsโ into the skin and becomes string-like when removing it. Your results sound good! ๐
Thank you, yes results were good. But itโs a little creepy for me ๐ฅบ @itsfi
@Cissy63 this sounds extremely interesting!! I've never seen anything like this
Thank you it was very different @lmaster
