Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread, and giving us a place to share our love for masks๐Ÿ’—

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@elleb810, this winter was brutal; am happy to see we're moving into spring.

Thank you; Trader Joe's just notes that it's a "small plant." ๐Ÿ˜‚ I looked it up online and it looks like it's a Tradescantia Fluminensis Lilac.

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@itsfi @Sounds like an interesting one!!! Agree that trying masks in the winter can be hard - it definitely sometimes seems like my skin is happy for anything !

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@Kim888, I feel like this winter, my skin really preferred cream-based or oil-based sheet masks. Not that it didn't do well with other essences / serums, but it responded exceptionally well this winter to masks that had cream- or oil- based essences / masks.

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

I missed a week last month, and I apologize to @PrettyPaint, because she had such a great theme! For Targeting Specific Skin Concerns, I am adding a few that help me โ˜บ๏ธ

Spoiler
The Ice Globes have been a great way to wake up my eyes in the morning while depuffing them. I use the smaller ends to massage back and forth under them, as Kate Somerville recommended (using cold spoons) in a virtual masterclass last year.  After a few minutes, there is a noticeable difference and  I feel soothed. Thanks @sprocketta for this perfect little gift!

Dry winter cheeks require extra TLC and this Leahlani Ambrosia Morning Facial Oil does the trick without making my concealer or foundation run amuck.

When my skin is in need of exfoliate-lite, I brush one of the SEPHORA COLLECTION Clarifying Peel Pads 60 Pads across my face. My once a month maintenance peel for super-smooth skin is the Peter Thomas Roth FIRMxโ„ข Exfoliating Peel Gel. And when things get serious, I reach for the Alpyn Beauty Wild Huckleberry 8-Acid Polishing Peel Mask 1.7 oz / 50 mL. Since the latter contains various sizes of granules, I use the SEPHORA COLLECTION Vegan Makeup Remover and Cleansing Brush to very, very gently remove without damaging my skin.

PrettyPaint, thank you for this theme, it was very helpful to read what others had to say, and to learn from everyone else here in the process!

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@eshoe I really like the Peter Thomas Roth gel; my skin always feels just a little smoother after I use it.

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

A little goes a long way too, @CookieGirl1! I was so nervous before first trying it. Thankfully my fears were all for naught; it is just a solid, gentle peel. @itsfi

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

2nd this @eshoe @CookieGirl1! PTR FirmX is one of a small handful of non-sheet mask masks that's been a repeated repurchase for me. ๐Ÿ˜€

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@itsfi I am curious if there are any wash-off masks you have purchased thrice! That might be a challenge all in itself๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜‰

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@eshoe oh those globes are gorgeous!!! What a fun way to start your day off

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

I like to think so too, @lmaster โ˜บ๏ธ

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@eshoe Oooh the globes look so Lux and fun to use!

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

They are, @Kim888! Perfect for nights when I wake and have trouble falling back asleep, leaving visible evidence under my eyes in the morning๐Ÿ™„

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

For Women-Owned Brands Week, I chose an old favorite to accompany a new-to-me sheet mask.

Leahlani Skincare makes some of the most soothing tropical masks, cleansers, facial oils, and other beautifying elixirs I have tried. This Mermaid Mask is a repeat purchase, and one that I gravitate toward often. It has a light, citrusy scent that leans sweet & fruity with a hint of something richer; incense-like, perhaps. It is rather thick, so I add a few pats of water onto my skin after I apply a small amount to help disperse it adequately. I leave this on for 30-45 minutes, remove, and move on to the next step. While I do not notice any noticeable differences in my skin such as firming, or a โ€˜glow,โ€™ it is one I will continue to use and enjoy. *Sensitive skin types might want to know this one has an abundance of oils and extracts that could cause irritation*

Leahlani Mermaid Mask Ingredients:

HONEY (HAWAIIAN RAW HONEY), *ARTHROSPIRA PLATENSIS (SPIRULINA) EXTRACT, ILLITE (MONTMORILLONITE CLAY), KAOLIN (SEA CLAY), *CHLORELLA VULGARIS (CHLORELLA) POWDER, *CITRUS SINENSIS (SWEET ORANGE) PEEL OIL, *HIPPOPHAE RHAMNOIDES (SEA BUCKTHORN) FRUIT OIL, LEUCONOSTOC FERMENT FILTRATE, AQUA, DUNALIELLA SALINA (GREEN MICROALGAE) EXTRACT, ORMENIS MULTICAULIS (CHAMOMILE) FLOWER OIL, ANTHEMIS NOBILIS (WILD CHAMOMILE) FLOWER OIL, MONARDA FISTULOSA (BEE BALM), PELARGONIUM GRAVEOLENS (GERANIUM) LEAF OIL, CYMBOPOGON MARTINII (PALMA ROSA) HERB OIL, LAVENDULA ANGUSTIFOLIA (LAVENDER) FLOWER, CANANGA ODORATA (VAR.GENUANA YLANG YLANG) FLOWER OIL, ROSA DEMASCENA (ROSE) FLOWER OIL, NELUMBO NUCIFERA (LOTUS, WHITE) FLOWER EXTRACT, ERIOCEPHALUS PUNCTULATUS (CAPE CHAMOMILE) OIL, BEESWAX (HONEY ABSOLUTE), CORIANDRUM SATIVUM (CORIANDER) SEED OIL, VANILLA PLANIFOLIA BEAN EXTRACT
*ORGANIC **WILD-HARVESTED

The Vitamasque Power Hydrate Blossom Nectar is a foil-printed sheet of multi-molecular weight hyaluronic acid soaked with blossom nectar complex serum. I did not detect a noticeable scent after opening. The sheet itself fit fine, and adhered well, although as it began to dry, began pulling away from the chin area. The thick, clear gel left no residual tack after wearing around 25 minutes. Overall, it was a good mask, and one I would use again.

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@eshoe

Love the purple butterflies on the Vitamasque mask.

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

It is a very cute mask, @nuinui933. Little touches like this go a long way!

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@eshoe, the print on that sheet mask is really pretty, and spring-y too! ๐Ÿฆ‹ It's interesting that it didn't have a scent (though better than having an unpleasant scent) - it has a lot of floral extracts in it, and added fragrance is pretty high up on the INCI list, but again, better to be unscented than to have scent that doesn't agree with your nose.

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@itsfi you know, the whole โ€˜scentโ€™ thing is curious to me as well. It is certainly possibly it was there, but I could not detect it. I am still slightly annoyed to be missing out on a possibly licorice-tinted delight in the fresh Floral Recovery Overnight Mask with Squalane 3.3 oz/ 100 mL sample I have. It is almost enough to coax me into the FS, but the size of that jar is rather intimidating. Better off just imagining it, I suppose;)

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@eshoe, maybe Fresh will come out with a mini / travel version at a later date, either as a standalone, or in a set with other masks or new products within the line? ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿผ Itโ€™s odd how the scent varies on this one - I picked up a scent on the gwp promo size but nada on the full size in store.

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@eshoe

I literally just saw that Vtiamasque mask at good old Target. I've picked up a few of them ever since hearing some of the other ladies on here speak well of them. This one is pretty.

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

That would be the place, @elleb810! It is hard not to pick one up on a run ๐Ÿ˜‰

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@eshoe oh that sheet mask is beautiful!!! ๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿฆ‹
