This year is going to be a little different - simplified. Easy. Every month will have a new theme, and that's it. Feel free to join in whenever and wherever. Most importantly - have fun!

Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights 💮

@Shosh85, this multi-step mask pack exceeded my expectations! ♥️ I think it’s one that would like! Nourished and glowy skin! 😃 It and the 3-step pack will be in the top 5 of my list for the next mask haul. 🛍

This sounds like a really lovely 2 step mask, @itsfi. It's hard to argue with being bright, glowy, and radiant at the end of a masking session!

Exactly @quspork! 😃 The results were spectacular! ♥️ It sounds like the moisturizer included in the 3-step pack may be too heavy for warm weather seasons, but this 2-step worked beautifully for me this time of year.

D is for Detoskin

This celery cleanse mask from Detoskin is a very thin well saturated mask. The fit was average - it was a bit too narrow for my face but otherwise fine. It does not have any strong scent. 

I left it on for 15 minutes and it was still fairly wet. After my skin felt hydrated but there was no brightening. 

My skin did feel feel tacky for about half an hour after. I’m not having good luck with that lately and I was starting to wonder if I needed a dehumidifier but I used a creame shop one and that wasn’t an issue so it must be the mask. 

overall, I would use this again but it’s nothing spectacular

@Kim888, I'm not particularly a fan of celery as a veggie, but this mask sounded promising initially - thin, narrow, well saturated, light scent. It's too bad it didn't end up being a standout and that it stayed tacky for so long; at least you got some hydration out of it.

@Kim888 I felt the same way about this one, and their Kale mask as well. A very ‘filler’ filler-mask.

@Kim888  That sounds nice that there was plenty of essence, but too bad about the tackiness. I tend to have issues with that as well...though I don't mind too much as long as I don't have to apply makeup right afterwards.

D for Dewytree 

Dewytree 100 Mask - Cica

The serum for this sheet mask is made of cica, and just cica. 😍 @Shosh85, I thought I'd be able to share with you what my take on cica's scent after using this mask, but my nose didn't pick up any scent from this 100% centella asiatica extract serum. Hmmm... 🤔

This mask is drenched with serum and it is runny and drippy coming straight out of the packet; it's also light mocha / tan in color, which having saturated the sheet material, tints it a similar shade. The sheet mask material is said to be made up of a blend of cotton, eucalyptus fiber and algae/seaweed. It's soft, thin-leaning and lightweight. Size-wise, it's overly large for my face shape, which is standard for sheet masks, and, as with most sheet masks, a few incisions are needed to the corners of the openings for the eyes and mouth, to help the fabric lie flat against my skin. The mask bunches up ever so slightly along the sides of my face which is not common but is easily remedied. I love cica for how it calms and soothes my skin, reduces discoloration from acne / PIH or dark spots, and hydrates. This mask did not disappoint and accomplished all those things in the half hour I kept it on my face. So far, I've used the cica and quince mask from this Dewytree 100 line and of the two, I prefer this cica version.

@itsfi  I remember @WinglessOne reviewing this one and her description of the scent! It makes me really want to try and grow a Cica plant! This mask certainly sounds great! It's hard to go wrong with 100% Cica! 😃

@Shosh85, how great would that be if you were to grow a cica plant?!!! I am barely keeping my aloe plant alive; the orchids are so much easier for me to care for. 😂  I've enjoyed the masks I've used so far from this Dewytree 100 line. I can't seem to pick up a scent from any of them though. ☹️ But I'll keep trying! 😉

@itsfi @WinglessOne  I've started to research how and when to grow, and instead of seeds I may be able to get a plant that's already started! I just want to make sure the timing is right 😉
