Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@ather  The blueberry and green grape scents are my favorite! Love a good fruity scent! 😃

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Shosh85  Those are both my favourite scents too 😍

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@ather  Have you tried any Frudia masks? Those are just my favorite Frudia scents, but I do love fruity scents in general, and it'd be hard to pick just one. A good honey scent is also a top favorite. 😉🍯

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Shosh85  I have not. I need to hunt some of those out. Honey would be good too!!! I love the smell of organic honey. I’m not into the fake honey scent tho.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

I've only tried the purple version of this one @ShortErica I wouldn't mind trying the others, sounds pretty decent

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Yeah, definitely a nice brand to try @lmaster but nothing wow. @Shosh85 gave a good description above

Naturally Upper Canada Goat's Milk Sheet Mask

This is a medium thickness cotton sheet mask that was saturated with plenty of white milky serum and had a slightly strong baby powder kind of scent. The fit was a bit big - it was too long at the chin and just a little too wide on the sides of the forehead. It was comfortable to wear and adhered pretty well, but the chin part did need some re-tucking a few times. I kept it on for about 25 minutes. When I removed it, my face felt great - refreshed/more awake, and comfortably hydrated and moisturized. There was a little tack, but it took only about 10 minutes for it to completely absorb and my skin was left feeling soft and smooth.

I really loved how this made my skin feel, my only critique is that the scent was just slightly strong for my sensitive nose. I haven't tried very many goats milk masks so I was happy to have the chance to try this one!B55E8D61-1949-4BCC-A31E-0D4223871126.jpeg

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

This sounds like a fantastic one for the winter @Shosh85. My skin tends to like milk-based masks too!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@PrettyPaint  Definitely! I feel like my favorite in the winter is the milky, creamy serums and in the summer, jelly serums are my go-to's 😉👍

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Glad this one worked out @Shosh85 , if memory serves I found the fragrance kinda strong on this one as well. Such a bummer when it’s not one we love!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@missjeanie  Yeah, if was a strong fruity scent it wouldn't have been so bad 😂 It turned out great though! Definitely makes me want to search for more goats milk masks! 🐐🥛

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Nice- glad to hear you liked this one, @Shosh85! I love a good goat's milk product but haven't tried it in mask form I don't think.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@quspork  I've only tried a couple of masks and some homemade soap, but it always feels great on my dry skin! Do you have a favorite goats milk product?

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

There's a local farmer who makes soaps and lotions with goat's milk that are amazing, @Shosh85. I've also really like the couple of things I've tried from Kate Sommerville's line. I feel like goat's milk is a really underutilized ingredient!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Oooh, this one sounds amazing @Shosh85! I like the goat milk line from Kate Somerville; didn’t even think about there being a goat’s milk sheet 🐐🥛 sheet mask. Making note of it.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@itsfi  Oh I totally forgot about the KS goats milk products! What have you tried?

Side note; I'm kinda curious how donkey milk and goat milk compare... I really would like to get a sheet mask of both and do a little battle. I feel like anything with milk in the title has been good for my dry skin 😃

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

A donkey milk vs goat milk mask battle sounds like a great idea, @Shosh85!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@quspork  Love this idea! 🙂 I don't know what it is, but the little donkey and goat heads on these masks always crack me up.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@quspork  Right? I haven't tried anything with donkey milk, but I have had my eye on a sheet mask. 😉 Have you tried anything with donkey milk?

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

YESSSSSS, @Shosh85 I LOVE donkey milk. Seriously, my all-time favorite moisturizer is the Freeset Donkey Milk 3D Moisture Cream. I used so many jars of that stuff before it was discontinued. Plus Soo AE makes a couple of great donkey milk masks. Oh and Elzavecca! @itsfi

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@quspork  I have the Elizavecca and Soo'AE  masks on my list, but I haven't heard of the Freeset brand! It looks like they have masks as well! I have a very good feeling Donkey Milk masks will be my next purchases - thanks for the tip on the Freeset! 👍😃
