Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

I think you’d like the donkey milk sheet mask @Shosh85; very nourishing. @quspork

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@itsfi  I'll buy one soon... I've only been able to find it in 10 packs though. I'm sure I'll just give in and get it anyway... because I'm weak 😂

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Hahaha!😄 Well, you’re in good company here @Shosh85! 😂

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Shosh85, the Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturizing Cream 1.7 oz/ 50 mLwas a staple of mine for years. 🐐 I only switched from using it because there was a winter when my skin was crazy dry and it wasn’t moisturizing enough for my skin at that time. It’s probably best for my skin in the spring and early fall; but as I think about it, I should probably try it again in the winter mixed in with a face oil. I also have tried a mini sample of the goat milk cleanser which is nice as well. The goat milk line from Kate Somerville is my favorite line of hers. Nourishing for drier skin types.

Ohhh, I really like your thinking about comparing the goat milk and donkey milk sheet masks! 😍😍 That sounds like a fabulous comparison. I’d maybe throw in a camel milk sheet mask if one can be easily found into that comparison mix. I may need to do some research this weekend ... 😆

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@itsfi  Wait - what? Camel?! I've never heard of a Camel milk mask! Where in the world have you seen that? I feel like I do A LOT of mask hunting and never have I come across a camel one! 🐫😳

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

Whoops, sorry about that @Shosh85; I meant to put camel milk sheet mask.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@itsfi  I know! I haven't ever heard of that!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Shosh85, I recall seeing it on Hautelook once, I think. 🤔 Along with more traditional flavors, they had a box of salmon egg sheet mask and a box of camel milk sheet masks. It was a while ago; I’m surprised that I didn’t pick either up so it must have been before I was adventurous when it came to sheet mask flavors or when I was on a no or low buy, or maybe a combination. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 😆

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@itsfi  I've tried a Salmon Egg one before, but I'll definitely have to keep a lookout for the Camel one!  🐫👍

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Shosh85  I feel like all’s goats milk products have a strong scent. I wonder why. I had a friend who loved the soaps and I would buy them for her and I couldn’t stand the smell

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@ather  I've actually heard that before. I don't have a lot of experience with goats milk products, but I know I've tried a mask before that had just a classic sheet mask smell, I just wish I could remember which one it was! I'll have to try and scour my notes for it 😉
My friend makes soap from the goats on her farm and those don't smell strong either - but maybe it because of the way she made them and didn't add a ton of ingredients? 🤔

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Shosh85  Interesting. I wonder. And I wonder why company’s would add a ton of scents if it’s not scented. I figured it was a bad scent so they covered it up.

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

I love goat milk products @Shosh85

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@fatimamummy  Me too! Though I haven't tried a lot yet. What is your favorite product? My friend gave me some soap she made herself from the goats on her farm and I love it! I'll definitely be keeping my eye out for more goats milk products!

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

That's an ingredient for 2020 I need to check out @Shosh85

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@lmaster  I think it's a great ingredient and I'd love to find more goats milk masks! 🐐

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

I think I would be scared to try a goats milk mask 😉

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Tamecia1beauty  When I first started masking I thought goats milk was a little strange, but then I found masks that had even stranger ingredients (that most people would think are gross) - so now goats milk doesn't seem so bad. 😂

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Shosh85  Aka snail gooo lol

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@ather  Haha! I LOVE snail goo! 🐌 I was also thinking of horse fat, salmon egg extract, placenta, shark liver, (thanks to @lmaster for that info) fish scales, sea cucumber, etc. 😂

@Tamecia1beauty

Re: 2020 Mask of the Week Challenge

@Shosh85  Omg gross. Your making the sound of snail goo sound the best!! I’ve seen the placenta masks and I just don’t think I can do it.
