Each week features a different theme, as well as a letter of the alphabet for coming up with new masking ideas. Feel free to post as frequently or infrequently as you would like, with or without following the challenge; they are guidelines and just something we do for fun. We love hearing about every masking experience, and suggestions are always welcomed!

Please include the brand and name of the mask you are trying out, as well as a photo if possible. Any other details are greatly appreciated, including scent, if it's an exfoliating mask (include acid info if known), your overall experience, and whether or not you would repurchase. Don't forget to include a grade (thanks to @ShortErica for the idea) to help others along the way.

Mask Hacks - Here are a few to get started thanks to our lovely BIC-ers, a big thank you for these fabulous ideas!

Trim off long chin and add to forehead for sheet masks	itsfi
Squeeze tube lip balms (like Bite) into pans and place in magnetic palette	sonnydee
Layer lip sleeping mask (such as Laneige) over regular balm	cianni
Derma plane prior to a peel-off mask to ease the pain of removal	heartsmyface
Warm water helps remove clay masks quicker than cold	cianni
Lay sheet masks flat prior to use so the serum is more evenly distributed	eshoe

Lol so my bf yet again picked a TONYMOLY layering mask for me today. I know he doesn’t pay attention enough to realize he’s picking the same masks over and over but it keeps making me laugh. 😂 This is the last one I have though so next time he picks my mask for the night it’ll be something different!

Weirdly enough out of all the TONYMOLY layering masks I’ve used this one seemed to have a larger sheet part than the others?? But it may be my imagination. I just felt like i had a lot of extra mask folded up on the edges of my face when I put it on!

Interesting notes on the sizing of this mask, @HunterKathleen. I think I still have one of these left to try, I know I've tried this one. I do like them MUCH better than the 'I'm Real' line and still haven't tried the Pureness line @PinkEvergreen but it's always good stuff I hear about it. Cute that your BF joins in on the fun in some way!

Maybe your bf just likes the name @HunterKathleen . 😄 That’s a whole lotta mask. My last TONYMOLY mask fit weird. I have a different one to try. I hope it’s not that the brand’s mask shape doesn’t agree with me because I liked it otherwise. How did it work for you?

@divaknits  I’ve noticed SUCH a difference between masks from Tony Moly. For example, I feel that the masks from their Pureness 100 series are super-soft, very nourishing, and fit beautifully:

On the other hand, I find their I’m Real series rough and not particularly nourishing, yet it’s the same price:

It’s taught me that if I don’t like a particular mask from a brand that I should definitely not give up on the brand as a whole. Sizing, material, and ingredients vary wildly not just between brands, but within them, too.

This is great advice @PinkEvergreen. I tend to be drawn toward brands that have been good to me but I shouldn’t overlook a brand because like you said, within brand can be so different. Thanks!

Tonight I used Ptr Pumpkin enZYme. Omg holy pumpkin pie! Y’all weren’t kidding about the scent. I left it on for 5 minutes. My skin was very smooth afterwards. But boy does the smell linger. Maybe a little too long for me. 

Next I used PTR Rose stem cell mask. 

I’ve been putting this off as I don’t like rose scents. I read a review that it was not heavily scented, so I thought I’d try it out. I’m glad I did. The scent was very slight (although I still smelled like pumpkin pie, so that could of masked it). It was very refreshing after the enzyme mask. 

I have to admit that my face looks amazing tonight. It is bright, glowy and looks younger. I give this combo an A+!

Great masking @emaisgr8 !  I really enjoy both of these masks.  I love the scent on the Pumpkin, but I could see how it would be a downside if you're not a fan.  It is a bit stronger for sure.

That is the cutest towel @emaisgr8 😄 Love the matchup and if you aren't the biggest pumpkin-y fan, you're not alone. Great results but the scent is not my favorite. Love the glow, though!
