Looks like the 50% off is only for the cleanser in the jars, but this is definitely a good deal if it's your jam!

The intention behind "mainstream/"prestige"" was meant to indicate things carried by sephora, or things ulta would label as "prestige".  Drug store items would be excluded.

I think one of the reasons this thread has died off in the past is too many "lackluster" deals as someone else put it.  It's hard to define what's a good deal and what's not.  I think it's a combination of a dollar-off amount, a percentage-saved, and a perceived-scarcity.

20% off at Tarte isn't that exciting, for example, because they do it so often.  20% off at Sephora is a little more interesting because it doesn't happen often.  Similarly 50% off a $10 item isn't that exciting, whereas 50% off a $100 item makes the deal more appealing.  

I hate having an undefined answer about what a "deal too good to pass up" is but there is a bit of je ne sais quois involved.  Hope that helps.  🙂

Your thread, your rules! 😁 I’ll just keep posting Target deals on my little thread (https://community.sephora.com/t5/Savvy-Shoppers/Target-beauty-deals/m-p/5394492), even though I’m the only one who ever posts there 🤣, but somehow I still keep going. With new brands constantly being added, and particularly with Ulta also coming to Target soon, I see potential there. (For instance, did everyone know they just started carrying Nails Inc?) Perhaps not as “exciting” as you put it, but good for many staple items, with a plethora of “deals”. Call it my labor of Target love.
