Awful box. Very disappointing. No lipstick just more bronzer that I don't use, wave cream for my very straight hair,  another primer to throw out. Would like to know how you folks ccme up with who gets what. The Nars lipstick was the only thing I wanted. Lately going in your stores is also disappointing. Had appt booked at your freehold nj store they were busy when I got there and then basically blew me off. To make matters worse I was attempting to find a new liner, shadow and lipstick (which was why I booked appointment that never happened) and in 30 minutes that I wandered trying on makeup not one person approached me to ask if I needed help. I do all my cosmetic shopping at Sephora but if this continues I'm back to Nordstrom and bloomies.

This box is awful! Why am I getting wave spray for my curly hair? And I don’t want anymore lipsticks in colors I would never wear. I’m so bummed to not get the supergoop. Do I just start lying in my play profile so I might get better stuff? Or maybe it’s just time for me to cancel.

I think we get the same/similar box. I have a hair spray too and I don’t like the color of my lip stick either.

Send the lipstick!  They're always great.

I love my boxes each month usually.  Of course I have to throw away the perfume and foundations each time. Is there a way to stop getting ridiculously dark bronzers and foundation and eliminate perfume?  I'm extremely sensitive to fragrance and very fair.

I'd like to see more eye makeup, but that seems to be a rarity.  I'm much more likely to use (and ultimately buy) eye makeup from the samples than foundation or perfume.

I’m excited to receive my first box, I would love to try the lipstick! my skin routine pretty much stays the same except I don’t have to moisturize as mush and start getting my summer shades ordered 😃

Anyone else’s drybar 3-in-1 basically empty? I’ve gotten this as a sample before and it was full. However this time it had one spray in it and then it was gone.

Soooo , out of the 8 boxes I have received by Play so far , This one is by far the most disappointing !!! I hated absolutely everything accept one of the items in my box (which was the Versace Crystal perfume) .... I HATE that I keep receiving a black mascara or ugly nude lipstick with almost all of my boxes !!! WHERE IS THE SURPRISES ?!? This junk is not even tailored to my specific profile . I don't use jet black mascara or nude lipsticks as these colors don't look good against my light , warm undertoned Puerto Rican complexion .... Not to mention I also received 2 , YES 2 , different hair sprays that are not for my kinky curly hair texture !!!! I left Birchbox for this ?!? If my April Box comes to me next month with equal amounts of useless items , I'm cancelling & moving on once again to search for a new box !!!!

You should try Boxycharm. It is $21 but it has 5-6 full size products. And it almost always comes with some kind of palette (eyeshadow, blush, highlighter, lip, etc.)

I was really disappointed last month but this month I was really stoked! The foundation sample was super close to my skin tone and shockingly worked wonderful and this unseen supergoop sunscreen.. this sunscreen is exactly what I was looking for! My skin loves it so much my jaw literally dropped. I have a really hard time with sunscreens and this one is, like, totally perfect. The tiger grass correcting cream was something I have been wanting to sample for a long time, glad I was able to! While it alone makes my skin look a tad tan, but it felt really good, and I'm keeping that in mind if I accidentally get too much exposure this summer. Personally I am always happy for a small dry shampoo that is purse sized. The mascara, well... I put it in my big pile of mascara samples I never use. Overall I was pleasantly surprised at this box. I am a bit jealous of everyone who got the lippy. If I had the lippy instead of mascara that would have been awesome.The perfume, while interestingly really did remind me of  a fireplace is something I would neeeever wear. Why not a nice floral spring scent, since, it's like spring?

I though we received our boxes the third week of every month. I'm so confused. This will be my first box. Should I be worried that I'm not getting this months? I see a lot of people on here that's already gotten theirs.

4 products i don't use :: 2 dry shampoos 😞 1 bronzer 😞 1 perfume. The mascara is ok and unseen sunscreen ive been wanting to try. How do i customize my profile to not get anymore dry shampoo (specially not two!). my hair is wavy would have loved the wavy hair spray. hate bronzer - looks weird with freckles plus dec and Oct i got 3 of the same samples.... disappointed. The boxes are not personalized!!! I am very happy and in love with Beauty sheet in the box featuring a cat it's so cute. . . just disappointed in the actual samples

I've been wondering the same thing, as in how to personalize your box. This is my first month with this subscription so this coming up box will be my first. I've seen the products in the box and the only thing I'll use will be the mascara. I've seen the past boxes and was pretty impressed, that's what made me subscribe. I hope we can find more info on personalizing.

Why am I getting the same things over and over again! The last several boxes have been disappointing, especially the March box. Im tired of the dry bar , which I will never use! I always get mascara , bronzing powder , highlighter, awful shades of lipstick , foundation that is not for my skin tone . Switch it up!!! I get all the samples I wont use , I either give the stuff away or it goes in the garbage. I’d like to know who gets the good samples I see in the sneak peeks , it’s never me! Time to cancel my play . My Ipsy is so much better!!!

I’m always excited to see what’s in my Sephora Play box, but I agree, this month was a dud. Considering I got the whole 2018 Sephora birthday gift as part of my January box and now 4 repeats in the March box, I think my excitement is fading. I understand that the odd repeat can sneak in, but 4 in one box? It’s only $10 but to echo everyone else, you can save that $10 and put it towards something you’re actually excited about. It might be time to cancel.

Very disappointed in the last 4-5 boxes I’ve received. Products do not reflect my preferences, skin/hair color, and items come damaged at times.  Also, the numerous duplicate items along with the emails, showing what you will receive each month, never never get sent out, are frustrating. I’m aware it’s only $10 but that’s $120 a year I could spend on quality products I want and will put to use.

3 out of the 5 products I got I’ve just recently gotten the past couple of months..out of the remaining two left the other was not my shade for the foundation.The fragrance really wasn’t for me either which was the last product left..this was a total bummer bag this month! Dupes and no match. Disappointed.
