Why am I getting the same samples I have received in recent months?

Amika Dry Shampoo - in the November box

Lashcraft mascara - in the September box and have received a different on in the past year

Makeup Forever Foundation - have received this within the past year

Last month I got yet another Rose Face Mask (which I hate) that I received in October and also got another one within the past year.

I also have at least 3 Laura Mercier setting powders because those get sent multiple times per year. 

This is seriously getting ridiculous. I have no problem receiving things I end up not liking if it's something new to try, but why am I spending money to get repeats of things that just get thrown away?

Out of all the items sent I literally only want two (one of which is the fragrance). What a waste of money this has turned into. I have like 20 sample mascaras and primers along with a bunch of awkward colored lipsticks or glosses. Like at this point I feel like they are just sweeping up the stockroom floor and mailing out what they find

I hate it! Not one, but TWO dry shampoos?! WTF?! Why? I will never use them. I don’t use bronzer either. The mascara I’m pretty sure I received before. And the Versace sample... multiple times!! Sunscreen... meh ...and it’s been like that the past 3 or 4 months!! I’m about to cancel.

This was the worst box! Are you guys just sending out anything you have left over and taking our money!? Two dry shampoos and a cheap little scent that you guys throw in for FREE during checkout? Why? You guys are a rip off

First time posting...because it's a must! This box (707) sucks! Too many repeats...thought the whole point is to "sample" products as in way of discovering something you like and then invest on buying the actual size product...instead feels like I'm collecting this brand of sunscreen and mascara...extremely disappointed.Two dry shampoos as well, really?

First time posting.

I’m not impressed with the March PlayBox.

Dry shampoo - ok

Mascara - 3rd one, ok fine

Invisible cover foundation - ok

Perfume - ok

Derma Green Solution (color correcting treatment with spf 30) - interesting and welcome for the summer 

and lastly water & sweat proof sunscreen spf 40 - also welcome 

However!

I was under the impression that Sephora is a make up store/company with (sort of say) side hustle in skin care, but it appears to be the opposite. Now don’t get me wrong, skin care is important, but I have SO many creams and moisturizers that I think I’m set for a while! Like a long while! Can I get something else besides foundation,  mascara and creams?! Where are the bronzers, eyeliners (ppl complain that they have too many, wtf?! I haven’t received one!), maybe fake eyelashes, glitter, fun eyeshadows, maybe nail polish, etc.!?!? Maybe figure out a medium in your boxes, some make up and some skin care. Whoever is “designing” these boxes either needs to step up their game, get an assistant or just be fired.

Plus those 50 insider points that come with it are a joke! You have to purchase something worth $20 or higher to redeem?!?! Wtf Sephora, that’s border line extortion!

 I signed up for a PlayBox subscribtion in November 2018 ... gonna give it another go for April and we’ll see, it may be my last box.

This is my box number 954. I’m allergic to sunscreen I have yellow undertones to my personal and skin I’ve received this foundation now three times It is too dark and too Read, I don’t use black mascara, and I don’t like have a Lee fragrance dry shampoos that contain butane and propane especially when they are the first ingredients listed. In the last five months I’ve gotten a total of three products that I actually will use that were suited towards me and one of them was a repeat of a birthday gift so I have a back up. What a waste. I wish they’d stop sending me masculine fragrances. I canceled last night. I’m gonna take my business to Ulta as I see no more benefits at shopping at Sephora since Ulta now carries many of the brands that Sephora does.

@SofiStar You're correct, but that was due to a recent decision to sell in mainland China. I have a foundation from them also before they changed their business practices but you can be sure I won't replace mine when it's gone

This will be my last playboy month with the play box unfortunately the items are not useful for me and end up giving them away. A waste of money for me and make up colors that are not for flattering that I'm unable to use and treatments that I don't need.
