I'm right there with you guys. I box sucked and I hated it. Same old cheap crap again. They send me foundation and I don't even wear it, another makeup remover, and the same lotion I just got. Pay $10.70 a mth to give your box away. I'm done. Guess it's time to try ALLURES box. Shame on you Sephora. Your Sephora for God sakes. Get it together. PLEASE!

Agreed. This June box was the worst one I’ve received. I can’t believe I received a tiny perfume sample as one of the gifts. Also, another mascara, another volume spray, another makeup remover and yet another sticky lip gloss in a color I don’t wear. I never buy lip glosses, I do not need another tiny perfume sample. The perfume sample should not have been one of the products. It’s not even a promo level sample. It’s a size of a sample you’d get if you purchased something. I feel cheated. Especially since their email notifications screwed up and my FINAL notice to update my payment was sent to me after the final date. I hadn’t received any email prior. I ended up receiving my “first notice” several days later. I called and they basically told me I was out of lunch for May but to look forward to June. I think I’m done.

My perfume sample was missing this month and I got yet ANOTHER setting powder (3 months in a row). I don't use powders at all. To be honest, with today being the first day of summer, and this month's theme being HOT HOT HOT, I was expecting a sunscreen sample. Super-bummed to get two hair creme items instead. The only item I got that I'm happy about is the Brazilian Bum Bum Cream. Although I've been a member for just over a year and I've never really had any major complaints, this month's box has sealed the deal for me. I canceled all my other boxes before starting this one b/c they started to get bad. Well, now I'm disappointed with this one. Esp since perfume was the big draw for me, and it's missing, and not for the first time. Plus, I've placed 3 orders with Sephora and never got my samples. I'm done.

I take that back they sent me year ANOTHER hair product for Caucasian hair. That I can’t use. Looks like I’ll have to put in another call to customer service. Like I do EVERY month. Less than enthused by this program at this point. #sephoraplaysowhite

@TheAndiShow I do understand your frustration. Did you know there are sub boxes that strictly cater to women of color only? They're beautifully done too. Look on Mysubscriptionaddiction.com. That's where I found them.

I really wish i don’t get the same samples every month. I dont really use dry shampoo especially not in summer but i get it every month. I also dont like dark color lipsticks, the ones i have received are not summer colors,too dark almost purple. I hated YVesSaintLaurent perfume when I received it first time, unfortunately i got another one this month. I like make up forever but the color is too dark for my skin i usually wear medium but this brand color tones are darker than usual. I am very disappointed with the selection of the samples. I expected sephora to be more professional about it and send samples depends on customer’s previous purchases or their taste/needs

happened the same with me...now looking at your feedback i realize that i m sailing on the same boat... i think their team should consider the last sent play boxes before customizing the current box...
