I have the same problem also and got something for frizz.. I've been also getting stuff that dont have a seal🤔
But when I can its pointless bc they dont care and say sorry cant do anything about that. Also with my points I spend some stuff was out and one was opened but sorry cant do anything about it .🤯
Well they wont do anything for me.... maybe it's where I live idk anymore. They wont do anything about when I get bad stuff with my points, and half of them r so small. Wish they would help give back some they r making a killing off of me and I know tons of others geez🤯
WRONG. Do you really think people would be complaining if they were getting items that matched their profile??? You’ve been super lucky hun. I set up my profile and have tweaked it time and again and yet they still insist on sending wave spray and hair oils and other hair care products that I can’t use because my hair is kept super short, and it’s oily. Eyeliners for hooded eyes? Don’t think so, but I get a ton of them. Ipsy is way better for the $10, even if the samples aren’t all brands I’m familiar with. Then you get to review your items and give them feedback on what you like or don’t like, and that’s each month.
Of COURSE we set up profiles- really?? That’s where all the disgust is coming from- at least on my part! I call and email CS repeatedly to try to understand HOW these boxes are chosen so that if I need to, I can lie on my profile to make sure I get products I can actually USE. The reply- I used TOO many variables on my profile (eg: I can have dry skin OR be concerned with aging but using both “confuses” things. I’ve been ignored, dismissed and treated like I’m bothering them with complaints, and they STILL haven’t fixed it! The last time I called, I ended up with the rep telling me that the department I neede was shipping- I guess some guy down there decides which boxes we get- which makes PERFECT sense! I should not have to call every month about these issues!!! Sephora really needs to wake up. They have tons of awesome samples that I really want to try and would likely buy, but Sephora decides they don’t fit my profile as well as the junk they send which I have NO interest in. It’s very very very frustrating!!!
Mine has been correct but I also get alone maybe 1 maybe 2 things if that each month. I wish I was lucky. I was told when I called they dont even go my our profiles I spend alot on high end they should go by that 🙂 glad to

@MoonrushnI completely agree. I think her and a few others have gotten lucky with their boxes. No, Play does not go by our profiles. It was always hit or miss with my boxes. I changed my profile 3 different times and still got sad results. Out of all the boxes I received, the one where I received an Alterna product was the worst. You can get Alterna at Walmart. I don't consider Alterna a name brand due to that. Out of all the high end products they have, they send that. It's good to know some people get lucky with these boxes and may they continue to do so. Just my 2 cents as well.

I like Ipsy better. I don’t care if they don’t send Drunk Elephant or other high end stuff, because I never get that in my play box anyway. Ipsy lets you review the products each month, and tell them what you like. I’ve never gotten the same thing twice, and the bags can be used to put all the samples from Sephora that I can’t use, and donate them to the women’s shelter.
