Anyone else keep getting the worst possible color lipsticks? Mine make me look dead or like a decidedly less pretty 90s Drew Barrymore. Brown-grey-mauve in various hues is all I'm getting. Blech. Also too pale for the foundation they sent last time and whyyy perfume samples? Those are free in most department stores! Definitely cancelling.

Right? I have a drawer full of them. I always wear reds or darker/brighter pinks. It’s a waste!

Ahaha! Yes! I keep getting matte maybe lip glosses. Seriously I have like 5 of them now.

I agree with the lipstick colors. I’ve been getting same boring ones every month. They are not even good colors for the summer

How do I start getting my boxes? I signed up but haven’t been notified of any money being taken off my bank account or of anything being shipped? Will I ever get a box???

I echo a lot of your same frustrations. My box supposedly was ready to be shipped on June 14, but the tracking shows no change. And, was anyone else disappointed to get an email already telling you what you got in your box? I read up on some of the products included, but try to keep the full box a surprise for myself. Really sad I opened that email.

I hear your pain @vlhval I am learning not to pay too much mind to the tracking. The one month that it was accurate it was torture because it was such a slow shipping process, finishing at the local post office for 4 days. Another month it came before the shipping even registered an update, and this month it showed the shipping updates only for a a day or so before it arrived- which was early again 🤷🏻‍♀️. I figure just ignoring the tracking info is best lol.

It’s funny because I opened the email too, thinking I ruined the surprise for myself but my box came today and it’s completely different products than what the email said I was supposed to get...?

Same thing happened to me ! Mine didn’t even come yet and the email showed me what I got. Buzzkill and I’m not sure why my friends around the corner got their boxes on Saturday and mine didn’t come yet! Same town

Mine finally updated and i now at least know my order is being shipped to me. Try checking again today!! I’ve been waiting since the 12th lol.

I see a lot of individuals with the same problem as I. This is a new subscription for me too as well and I already am having a bad experience. I have Boxycharm and Ipsy and they are on point when it comes to notifying customers about the status of there products. I received an email on June 15 letting me know my products have been shipped and that there is a tracking number that I can look back on. It is now June 20th, and the reason I am a concerned customer is that UPS tracking website still remains as "order processed: Ready for UPS." Is this the norm for customers, when it comes to shipping and handling process being so slow? or am I being billed for imaginary products? please, someone, help a sister out and get to the bottom of this.

Yes they always take the money way in advance, then send an email that it’s on its way, and then it takes another 10+ days to arrive.  I’ve learned to ignore the shipping email.

Same thing every month. They charge me on the first of every month and it ships out around the 14th and takes so many days to come. Really sucks that they don’t use UPS bec the post office takes like a week to get.

This was my first box so I was very anxious to see what I would be getting (I'm terrible with surprises lol) and it looked like the Too Faced liquid lipstick and the Clineque makeup remover would be in all boxes. It's shade Queen B and it's a very nice color! I'm actually wearing it now 🙂 But, it smells pretty gross... Not on the lips but in the bottle so be forewarned!

I have it. To me it doesn't smell at all. Matter in fact is that I didn't realized the color until someone point it out in another comment. Now I have two, wich I don't mind. I got my box today. I'm very happy with this month. The only thing I didn't like is the caviar hair product. I hate that brand. The 1st sample I've ever tried for hair product from the Play! box was a caviar shampoo and conditioner, It ruined my hair. It made it brittle and dry...it looked like when you bleach you hair and it goes wrong...you knkw what I mean? That horrible my hair looked...so I'm kinda hesitant to try this..I may pass it on to someone else.

@Aegis I got my box yesterday and was lucky enough to get the melted lip matte. Really love the color! I hope you get it in your box, too!

yay!! I got my box today...it came really late this month. I didn't realized the color of the liostick until you told me. I already have it lol. but having an extra from my favourite colour..I don't mind. I like thw fact that is a full size. and I liked this month perfume sample wasn't tiny and complicated plastic vial like the YSL black opium...wich I loved and I'm craving to get it in full size... The only thing I hate is the caviar hair product. The last sample I had it ruined my hair...it made it brittle and dry..Horrible.

I was emailed on Friday, June 15th, the box had been shipped. Saturday, June 16th, I was emailed that it arrived. I still haven’t seen anything and I’m a bit disappointed, as this is my first month subscribing.
