Is the bag seriously a plastic ziplock?

Is the bag seriously a plastic ziplock bag? This is my first month with Play! I get ipsy also and I thought these bags were similar and certainly more than plastic?

Honestly it’s usually cloth bags with horrendously ugly designs.. nothing like the super nice ipsy ones so I was relieved to get the recyclable bag bc I just throw out the ones for Sephora and feel bad but they are so ugly

That was my first thought, too - it totally seems like a slightly thicker-than-average ziploc bag. As the poster above said, it's usually a fabric bag, so hopefully they'll go back to that going forward. The plastic one is ugly, less likely to be reused, and I can't imagine it's environmentally friendly (even if it's recycled) as fabric. Not a fan.

It did remind me of thicker zip lock bag. Wasn't a fan.

These cheap plastic bags are ridiculous.  I signed up for cloth tie bags a year ago, and now all the sudden I am getting cheap ziplock bags. Ipsy still gives us nice makeup bags every month.  This is a great way to lose subscribers.

Not sure what the new bags actually feel like, but they are supposed to be recyclable. The old bags were almost always cloth drawstring bags. One month was a clear hard plastic envelope style one with a snap, and I lived that one.
