I'm not at all happy that you are ending Play. This was something that I looked forward to every month. It was a nice set of samples for the price. After looking at your "favorite" section, I see that the cheapest box is $25... for samples! I definitely will not be purchasing any of those. There are other ways of getting samples much cheaper. Elle and Macy's box are great. Plus, the element of surprise is gone which makes it much less desirable for me. Boxycharm is the same price and comes with full size items. There are many others that offer full size items for this price or cheaper. This was a really bad decision during an uncertain time in America. Every little thing matters. Sephora has just added another negative change to the mix.
@Anonymous We totally understand and want you to know not all boxes will be $25. Keep your eyes out for the $10 Sephora Favorites Hello! set launching in May. It has the value you loved with PLAY! but with some extra features. We can't wait to share it with you!
I also think timing on this is horrible...I looked forward to my box. I just re-enrolled back into the Sephora subscription program and most recently my experience last month getting the box was horrible. It took 2 weeks and no shipping info showed up. I called your Sephora customer service and she said it was an info with the package not going out so she ordered another box for me....three days later I get an email for the new box saying "We cancelled your order per your request" I was upset...called again...this time they sent it out again...and three days later same response about cancelling my order...this time ...now I got a supervisor who explained why the orders were cancelling...because they are out of stock!! So the system cancels the order... I had to wait another week for the box to be in stock. .and then she promised itll ship. Well guess what...it shipped and when I asked for some kind of compensation for the ptoblem...she told me no...and told me they couldnt even expedite my shipping. Lets just say I am disappointed in Sephora. I have been a long time shopper with you all and this has made me lose my faith in you all for my beauty needs.
