Now, other things I'm sure some people will like while others don't .  I love the black eyeliners and red lipstick, but I think that we're ALL in agreement that the perfume stinks (forgive the pun).

I love the perfume samples. It sets this box away from the other boxes. And I take them traveling with me.  My daughter is excited to get them in box too.  In fact if they stopped them I’d probably discontinue the boxes so don’t say everyone doesn’t like them.

Me too!  I'm a perfume junkie and amazingly, it seems like at least 80% of the time I'm receiving either A. Fragrances that I like or B. Fragrances that someone ELSE that I know would like and I just pass them along.

Every box contains perfume samples as the extra item. It was part of their advertising when they first rolled out Sephora Play.

LOVE this month's Play box!  Xmas came early for me!!  5/6 solid products in this box! Haven't tried them all yet, but I had been secretly hoping to get the Smashbox shadows and the ABH lip gloss (smells so wonderful and love the effect!). Very pleasantly surprise to find the Laura Mercier primer, the PTR 24K gold prism cream, and the Dry Bar Triple Sec!  Too happy!  Thank you, Play!

I'm very happy with this month's box. I love the lip gloss they chose to put in 577. It's not a color I would normally try, but I'm happy I did. Can't wait to try the other products.

I'm pretty happy with my box this month - perfume sample aside, which is always junk - as I can actually use the skincare (no silicone). Sure I have a ton of liquid liners, but between the gym and travel they get used up unless the formula is trash.

I have been progressively disappointed with the Play boxes and this is the worst yet for me! First of all, I don't want the perfume sample, ever. I wish that could be an option to remove completely. Second, I already received THREE of the items in previous Play boxes! THREE! I have previously received the Laura Mercier Caviar Stick, the Black Eye liner (does the brand even matter? I have so many black eyeliner samples!) And the DryBar spray. The SmashBox eye shadow doesn't work on me as I have heavy eyelids, so it just makes me look like I haven't slept in 10 days. So basically I paid $10.99 for the IT Cosmetics cream sample. I guess that's still a decent deal but I hate having all this product from Play Boxes that I'm not going to use.

Absolutely agree! Just got my December box. soooo unhappy with it. I dont wear red lipstick but now i have 3 of them. And that stupid perfume sample which smell literally makes me sick. Have to cancell this boxes of disappointment 😒

Yes. Yet another red lipstick. I have so many of them by now. Seriously considering canceling the service. Also unclear as to how they decide who gets what box.

My box too. I’ve never worn bright pink lipstick and I prefer a kohl pencil so I canceled my subscription.

OH I agree! I am a copper/redhead and this was appalling!!!I love it for someone else but it was color and age inappropriate. I wear bright corals and reds but this was a bit much.

I love the eyeliner and the highlighter drops. I am always looking for a great eyeliner and this is way better than the one I have. Will see about wearability. Could have used the palette more though.

Fragrance is nice and already used up the powder shampoo!

Recently received my play bag, it’s ok. The lipstick shade though is not ok. Are these personalized to your color preferences? Yikes....is all I can say.

I got my box yesterday. It's ok but I HATE an actual bag. It sooo cheap looking and i have lose threads all over products!!! It's drives me crazy! I prefer to have no bag than trying to clean this mess. Last year's bag was really nice-black velvet with a gold print

Do you know what I did with my bags this year? I went to the dollar store and bought all the things to make mini emergency/first aid kits to throw in your purse. I also took perfume samples and put them in there. I love perfume samples but I have some dupes. I basically regifted them as stocking stuffers filled with stuff you'd want to keep in your purse anyway - band aids, travel toothbrush and toothpaste, clear nail polish, mini sewing kit, tylenol packet, etc...

Ugh my December box is so lame. I already had that smashbox which I bought with my points and have the miss dior sample from another freebie. Wish they could look at what you have already before sending these boxes!

Out of all the box possibilities I got the box I wanted the least. It should come today but I got my preview in the inbox. I’m so disappointed. Maybe I just need coffee first because it’s early.
