primer for oily lids

I 2nd Urban Decay's original lid primer (the newer versions don't hold like the original). Another tip is to then layer a base on top of that. I use Laura Mercier Caviar Stick eye color that's close to my skin color. Those two items layered under whatever eye shadow I want keeps my shadow strong for a MINIMUM of 6 hours, usually longer. And I have the most oily skin you can imagine, think oil slick within 30 minutes of washing oily/oil gets in my eyes oily 😲

RE: primer for oily lids

Urban Decay’s original primer potion. My eyelids are super oily as well and this has been the best! I’ve used it every day for years. It keeps eyeshadow looking bright and keeps it from creasing. Only after a long day and with certain shadows (sadly, some of Urban Decay’s palettes) will I have a little crease on the inner side of the lids.

@anniesancharra Mac has a really great "24 hour" primer that works well on my oily lids. I can't link because of community rules but it is called  Mac Prep + Prime 24 Hour Extend Eye Base. Make sure there isn't a trace of powder prior to applying this because it gets weird. Other than that great primer! Also it has no color so it wont effect your shadows tone
