Face skin

Good face wash for oil skin to prevent pimples. Blackheads, the usual (:

Face skin

I love the Dermadoctor AHA/BHA cleanser. I've switched to others but skin can tell and hates me for it. within 2 days of switching back I can notice a difference. I have such oily skin and live in south Louisiana so you can just about imagine how that can be. this has been a life saver.

@Anonymous FAB Pure Skin Face Cleanser 🙂

Re: Face skin

Hi @Anonymous,

The key to keeping oily/acne prone skin clear is making sure your skin is squeaky clean which is why I recommend double cleansing. Double cleansing ensures your pores are cleaned really well. Right now, my favorite double cleansing method is using an oil based cleanser first to remove makeup and then following up with a foaming cleanser. My current favorite combo is: Tatcha's Camellia Cleansing Oil, followed up by Origins Checks and Balances Cleanser. I hope this helps!

Stay Gorgeous,

Penelope

RE: Face skin

I really liked the ORIGINS finding refreshing scrub cleanser (orange bottle). It’s refreshing to use. I can’t tell if it works or not because I use it on and off. But give it a go.

Re: Face skin

The one i use for my face is the Purity Eye Makeup and face cleaner. Its specifically made for oily skin plus it takes off the makeup too. Ive been loving this and i use it everyday.

Personally, The purity and cucumber soy one are too "light" for me. Recently I've been using the new ole henriksen Find your Balance Oil Control Cleanser in the morning and Youth to the People's Kale and Green Tea Spinach Vitamins Age Prevention Cleanser. I need something that's going to do more than the ones mentioned above. My skin is wicked oily, but can get patchy yet still be oily even where the patchy spots are! It's horrible. Your post is my mission in skincare, haha. I want something that's not going to dry it out, but that is going to give a good cleanse. Serums, moisturizer, and exfoliating are also important.

Re: Face skin

Cleanser is really more for just keeping your skin clean rather than fighting acne. To do that, I'd recommend looking for a serum with salicyclic acid that can help combat blackheads and other pimples. But as far as facial cleansers for oily skin, both Philosophy's Purity and FAB's cleanser are good. And if you don't mind the scent, the Fresh Soy cleanser is alright too.
