I'm not always a fan of gold nail polish but there's something about this OPI shade that makes me think I need to rethink that @ShayeZee - the neutral tone is lovely and it looks like it has a satin and chrome finish to it that I find very interesting and pretty.

I dont really like gold either @itsfi  -typically they are too :in your face" for my taste... but this one is muted/soft. So not only does it look less flashy than golds usually are..softening up the entire appearance, but it also looks good as a highlight nail against darker shades like greens, black, even blue or purple.  Black especially...hmm...my next look?!?!

*EDIT* - you can this buy OPI (and tons others) on nailpolishcanada.com for maybe 12$...OR if in Ontario you can wait and go to one of the warehouse sales. They have bins on bins there of OPI - all for 5$ each

Indoor light

Back to natural nails. The Hello Kitty press-on manicure came off yesterday. I was pulling down a storage box from a shelf but gravity felt I was doing it a little too slowly and tried to help, popping a nail off in the process. I couldn’t find it to glue it back on, so they all came off. I enjoyed the length so I’ll revisit that again in the future.

My thumb, ring, and pinky are China Glaze - Werk It, Honey! A simple cream yellow. A special shout out to @RGbrown for posting your methodology on applying yellows. It could have been two coats but one nail was a bit streaky, so I did three plus a gel-like top coat and it smoothed out just fine. 

Index and middle are Kozmic Kolours highlighter green from a discount store and inspired by @CookieGirl1. This was a crelly (finally understand what is!) and was a tiny bit sheer still by the third coat. I wanted full opacity, so I did four. It started to bubble a little and now it looks like the tiniest specks of non-holo glitter, at least to me. At least they’re evenly distributed, so I’ll try to live with it.

And not pictured is the other hand where I inverted the pattern and did the thumb, ring, and pinky green instead.
