I just made one similarish to the pink, and am currently wearing something kinda similar to the top right one (definitely not a dupe, but I still have to convince myself I don't need it lol). I'm an idiot and spent my money on basic jellies from Cirque 🙄 (and a decent sized Night Owl haul) so hopefully I can make myself ignore these!

Same @RGbrown. Interestingly, if that China Glaze collection had a color other than the neutral, it'd be an easy yes for the set. So strange because I'd normally be all over a neutral shade. Not to say I won't go for the entire set still, but I'm thinking it through a little more carefully. 🤔 My Night Owl Lacquer polishes arrived today along with some other polish orders so I may work my way through those beauties and then decide what to do with the new fall collections.

Yeah, that CG neutral has me debating as well. In one pic it looks gold, but in the other it looks more peachy. I don't really care for either shade, but it makes me super curious what it looks like IRL, so I'm tempted to get it anyway 😂

I'm having similar difficulties picking through the MT set...brown and taupe aren't my faves, but I love MT and know at least the formula will be fabulous, and since I don't have many of either, maybe I should fill some holes in my collection. The mauve pink though, goodness, I have plenty of pinks and could easily skip it, but if I'm grabbing a brown of all things, I may as well grab the pink too, right? 😂 

I haven't even started my Night Owl cart yet 😮 Thankfully their sale runs all month, but maybe I should prioritize that over CG and MT...those will still be around next month, after all.

100% in agreement with you @RGbrown. If you're picking up the brown, the pink is a must - to balance it all out after all. 😉 If I go for the neutral and browns in either or both the CG and MT, it'll be for completing the set and to test out some toppers I picked up on all shades. 😂 

Yeah, I'm going to hold on the fall stuff until I see a couple of more collections from other brands. I tend to get a little carried away with fall and winter shades so I'm going to try to exercise some restraint this year. The key words are "try" and "some" hahahaha!

Now I'm confused. I found the MT collection up at BeautyZoneSupply, and the pink might actually be green? The name makes more sense for a green, but I'm absolutely baffled as to why the promo pics show a pink and definitely want to see what's what before ordering.

If it is green though, I think that might tip me over the edge and I'll just get the whole set, eek. 

ETA: another pic; I love this set and would grab it in a heartbeat! Green instead of rose mauve, and the taupe looks more like a purple to me.

Ummm... green is the new pink???!! How odd @RGbrown! That there is a very green polish - and a beautiful green too. Completely agree that the name really points to it being green. Well, now you haaaave to pick up the green-that-sometimes-looks-pink shade and if you're going to do that, might as well get the entire colelction, right?! 🛍 That logic won't be understood by all, but I'm sure folks here will understand. 😂

OPI’s Barbie Collection!

From what I’ve seen of the movie trailer and other promo vids on YouTube, these colours are a pretty good match. I didn’t know they’ve been out for a while and almost missed out.

Luckily, the beauty supply shop a block down from where I live is known for their selection of gel polishes and nobody really looks at the lacquers. On the left is “Welcome to Barbieland,” which is a shimmery hot pink. The right is “Hi Barbie!” which is the quintessential Barbie pink. Can’t wait to try this out in a few weeks when the movie comes out!

Some bonding today doing some mini manicures while watching Pokémon. One daughter asked to copy my manicure while my other daughter wanted to mix in some light pink too. 

These polishes were a set called Piggy Paint - Natural As Mud. A light and dark pink, as well as a purple to round out the set. They’re water based and quite pigmented. These are all a single coat. They seem to be holding up much better than the Smackers ones I used last time. One of my daughters is pretty rough with her hands and I can already see some chips! 😅
